ABC journalist told to leave

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation journalist in Fiji, Sean Dorney was called this morning by Pene Nonu from the Ministry of Information, and asked to leave Fiji.

Mr Nonu told Sean that they did not like his reports on ABC and to expect two immigration officers at his hotel room to take him away and ensure he gets out of the country ASAP

Sean Dorney and New Zealand's TV 3 are the only two overseas media who've been allowed in Fiji.

Michael Field from Fairfax and TV One's Barbara Dreaver are also banned.
