Ro Teimumu taken to military barracks

The High Chief of Rewa Ro Teimumu Kepa has been taken in for questioning by the military, to their headquarters at Queen Elizabeth Barracks.

Under the Public Emergency Regulations, the police have the power to detain and question people, but not the military.

She was taken in at around 6pm after being released temporarily.

The High Chief was detained Tuesday night and kept in a cell at Central Police Station in Suva all night until late this afternoon.

Coupfourpointfive has been told that Ro Teimumu was not allowed any food or water while she was detained.

Methodist Church General Secretary Reverend Tuilkilakila Waqairatu, the Secretary for Pastoral Ministry, Tomasi Kanailagi and former church president Manasa Lasaro are also still detained at Queen Elizabeth Barracks.

  1. The Military and Voreqe will be destroyed through the power of God.

Teleni and the Police have also been warned with all coup supporters that the wrath of God is greater than anything else that Fiji has ever seen before.

Thorough the power of prayer and the wisdom of God we shall overcome anything.

  2. One of the most powerful chiefs in the country, and that too a lady, is being humiliated by Frank, Aiyaz, Qiliho and even her blood relatives. And what do the Fijians do. Keep their eyes wide shut. What a bloody shame. The problem is that Fijians have always been the aggressors - 1987 (twice) and 2000. In 2006, Fijians have been the victims of a coup engineered by Indians and executed by a pantsy lke Bainimarama. And there is no sign of aggression or protest unlike Indians who showed peaceful resistance like boycotts and gathering outside Borron House in 1987 where Dr Bavadra and his NFP-FLP Coalition government were kept by Sitiveni Rabuka.

I salute Ro Teimumu Kepa for her courage. She is a woman of substance and to me the next Fijian leader that she deserves for her stand agaist the thugs. Unlike Qarase who has willingly jumped into bed with the traitor Chaudhry.

To the people o Rewa- Stand up and be counted. You canot allow your high chief to be humiliated by Frank and his thugs. Enough is enough.
