The regime's interim Attorney-General and military dictator Frank Bainimarama's trusted ally, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has been strangely silent for a fortnight.
He has not made any public statements nor has he made any public appearances.
Sources have confirmed he returned from Barbados and Brunei but has been keeping a low profile. Members of the public have failed to secure any appointments with him in regards to the ministerial protfolios he is holding in the regime.
Sources say Sayed-Khaiyum has been notified by the military council to exit the regime's interim Cabinet, similar to the ultimatum the Council gave to Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry in July last year.
According to sources, Bainimarama has been notified by the Council of its decision for Sayed-Khaiyum to relinquish his position as interim A-G or be sacked.

Few weeks ago Coup 4.5 reported the saga between Fiji One's Satish Narayan and Bainimarama's daughter. Yesterday June 17, 2013 Satish Narayan received his walking papers from Fiji One.
It is understood that Bainimarama called a board member of Fiji One, Padam Lala and told him if Fiji One wants their License in tact, they will have to sack Satish Narayan.
Padam Lala instructed Tarun Patel to sack Satish Narayan immediately, If Patel wanted to keep his job.
The employees of FBC were told of the firing of Narayan way before the employees of Fiji One were made aware of.

Editor, we learn from a Fiji Times report that Minister for Housing, Environment, Local Government and Urban Development Colonel Samuela Saumatua has resigned "for personal reasons" according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information yesterday (FT 18/6).
Be that as it may, my question is why should the Attorney-general Aiyaz Saiyad-Khaiyum "assume the position om an acting basis until a successor was appointed"?
Is Mr Khaiyum the only capable man in the illegal military regime in Fiji? Doesn't he have enough portfolios already?

Aiyaz Sayed Kahiyum should know that he is employed by the mob rule. He first became Bainimarama and military's lap dog, then guard dog after Chaudhry's dumping and must have dreamt of becoming the top dog soon given Iloilo's forcd retirement and the dictator Bainimarama's eyes on the Presidency.
But he will have shattered dreams and soon all Indians who supported the coup - more than 80% of them will know that Bainimarama is no God but a demon who is worse than a paedophile - use people to become strong, abuse them and then dump them.
So it will be just dessserts for Aiyaz. What goes around comes around.
Well, I sure hope that Khaiyum gets out of the cabinet. He has caused us so much grief.....his masterminding thesis on the demise of the native Fijian land laws, chiefly council and church....he needs to escape now or else be mugged in public!
