Ratu Inoke Takiveikata gets seven years

All eight men found guilty of plotting to kill Frank Bainimarama have been given jail sentences, with the Naitasiri high chief, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, and former Pacific Connex employee, Sivaniolo Naulago, getting the longest sentences at seven years.

The Fiji Times is reporting the sentences as follows:

Barbados Mills received six years and six months
Former Counter Revolutionary Warfare unit soldier Feoko Gadekibua five years and six month sentence
Former intelligence chief Metuisela Mua three years and six month
Eparama Waqatairewa three years
Kaminieli Vosavere four years and
Pauliasi Namulo three years.

The sentences were handed down by Justice Paul Madigan a short time ago.
