Umaria thanks illegal government for special administrator job

Chandu Umaria has been appointed the special administrator for Suva and Lami as tipped by Coupfourpointfive yesterday.

Umaria (above) takes over from Maria Hallacy and has told Fijilive that having been in the council for 16 years and having served as Suva mayor from 2000 to 2003, he's comfortable in the role.

“I am pretty well versed with the operations of the municipality in Suva and I will be having meetings with the directors and all the executives of the Suva City Council and Lami Town council to discuss issues."

He also said he would make improvements immediately: “A lot of people have been complaining that the SCC and a lot of other municipalities are operating like civil servants and service is not delivered properly but I assure that in a short time, you will see changes.”

Umaria thanked Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama, the inter-military council and the Attorney General’s office for having faith in him.-Source for quotes, Fijilive

No suprise, Chandu Umaria has always served himself first, under the guise of serving the public. So I'm not surprised - it was only a matter of time before he exposed his true self, someone willing to sell his principles for his own gain. I won't be surprised if he hires Thakur Ranjit Singh back in Council to be his sidekick!

NZ and Oz take note. Chandu Gandu was appointed by the illegal government so automatically he should be on the travel ban list. All these Indo businessmen supporters are coming out of the wood to expose their true colors just as the bus operators did recently.

Aus and NZ take note...how about local fijian take note and keep a watch list names, addresses associates,of those who pander to this regime and curry favour (pardon the pun), and take positions and illgeal oaths...someone has to round them up when this all collapses around them. Also we will need some pschiatrists as there is going to be huge number of people with really poor memories about how this all came about and how they got their jobs and how they don';t remember taking illegal oaths.
