US president notes Fiji's 40th anniversary

The US Embassy in Fiji has released a statement from President Barack Obama, regarding this week's Independence:

To the People Fiji:
I extend congratulations to the People of the Republic of the Fiji Islands on the ocassion of the 40th anniversary of Fiji's Independence on October 10.

The People of our nations enjoy a friendship founded on the mutual commitments of our societies to peace, freedom, rule of law and democractic ideals.

In addition, we have always enjoyed a relationship that is based on trust and mutual respect. It is through our shared commitment to these ideals that the bond between our countries has remained strong over the years.

As Fiji celebrates its Independence Day, the United States continues to stand with the people of Fiji, and I am confident that we will build ever closer ties between our countries in the years to come.

Sincerely,
Barack Obama

  1. Is Obama's speech a veiled threat to Frank and Co. or an indication of impending doom for the Regime !
How can ?america be closer to Fiji when Frank Bainimarama and Co. are inviting the Communists into Fiji ?
Is Fiji Day going to be the F.B. Day we've all been waiting for ?

  2. Note Obama's letter the emphasis on standing together with the "PEOPLE OF FIJI", but no mention of the so called Government of Fiji.

  3. Vinaka Obama, at the moment I am watching the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and it is so sad that Fiji is not there.

The blame lies completely in the hands of that greedy sonofbitch Banimarama and his bunch of interim thugs.

These crims have no shame are using taxpayer money to illegally fund their useless trips all over the world whilst our young athletes miss out on a life changing experience at the Games.

All I can say to sonalevu Bainimara, Driti and company is, "you all are a selfish bunch of arseholes".

  5. The 2 big kahunas have just been shown but everyone have missed it and barking up the Bhaini slave's rear. The top kahuna is Rome himself (the Bhaini in the photo in the previous post with his boss) and the big boss's tool the one that speaks like the dragon right here in this photo. Who implements the wishes of the abominable in the above photo.
