Roko Ului Mara's wife being questioned again

Insiders say the wife of Roko Ului Mara is being questioned for a second time and had her house raided this afternoon.

She is still being interviewed at CIF HQ in Toorak.

Also being interviewed is Adi Koila Ganilau, the daughter of the Epeli Ganilau, the former Defence Minister.

Her house was also raided by military police this afternoon.

Sources have also said the president, Epeli Nailatikau, remains at this official residence tonight, despite reports to the contrary a short time ago.

An insider says the threat to his removal remains very real but offshore publicity, has put the illegal attorney general, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum, and the illegal leader, Frank Bainimarama, on the back foot.

Bainimarama is still in Kadavu, reportedly stranded because of problems with the military boat that took him over.

A source says the illegal PM has recently boosted security at his residence, including a newly-built fortified guard house at the main entry point, as shown in the map.

What is Rt Nailatikau waiting for? The Keg to go dry at the Defence Club?

What powers do the Military Police have at residences of private individuals? Don't quote the PER cause there is no clause in there to give the Military full fledging powers. Where is the Impartial and Neutral Police?ooppss forgot that they have been tainted by COMPOL WorldWarII

For farks' sake where the hell is Iowane Naivalurua?

Come on Police, where the hell are you?
Where is Gates?

Why are you allowing all this to happen?
Aren't you guys in charge of the Judiciary?
How can the Army keep rounding up people like this?
Don't we have a Police Force?

Dictator with a stroke in kadavu?
Well he suffered a stoke two years back on a western trip and was admitted at a local house in secret and local doctor administered him for 3 days till he could go, he also suffered a face stroke and went to china to get it fixed paid by tax payers for 3 weeks. Its not wishing bad health to anyone but this is fact for him. His days are numbered when he will face another stroke and may be the end. people dont also know he smokes dope now and then which has farked him up, with arthities and diabeties and high blood pressure-not so strong as he thought he was a god or someone.

This should be coordinated properly in all towns in Fiji. To happen at the same time peaceful protest. The police and military will be outnumbered and they will not have enough manpower and resources to handle the situation. No room or enough compound to keep people in custody if they want to arrest. not enough food for people to eat while they are locked up. they will not be able to cope.....But import thing is to protest peacefully and it should continue 24/7 until we achieve our goal. No inciting words or comments..just peaceful demo...the more people the better...common guys lets do it. Suva, Lautoka, Sigatoka, Nadi, Ba, Korovou, Nnausori, Labasa, Savusavu..come on and save Fiji...we are living on borrowed money...lets stop it..

It’s no surprise that navy deck-hand Frank Bainimarama does not feel safer anywhere else except out at sea looking out from a boat deck checking to see if there’s frogmen snorkelling around trying to take him down.

Frank is believed to be killing time in the Kadavu waters while his group of security scout guards take to Suva City to sus out if it’s safe for him to return.

Security on the ground is high and Fiji residents are tense with all sorts of reports bombarding them from Tonga, NZ, Australia and the uncensored cyberworld.

Even Frank is responding to the heightened security in mainland Viti Levu and is delaying his return to Suva while he delicately plan his re-entry back to mainland on-board a Fiji naval sea vessel. He is acting like a fugitive at sea.

With regards to Coups, i think it should be included in the education curriculur, a subject on its own that is compulsory for all to take, so it is to be learnt and made aware of, how and why it begins and how it is a very negative way of voicing your grievances.

Because it has become a part pf the political culture for fiji, i strongly suggest that it should be prioritised into the education stream as a major, because its made an impact on all our lives so far. As Ratu Jone Baledrokadroka said "Our nation is Bleeding"

Do we want our future generation to go through what we're going through- venting our frustration on a blog site, when there is no other way, apart from the many many grievances we hold today?

We need the fijians to be united, otherwise FLP will sneak through.

Anonymous said...

@anon 12.24;

You are a real bastard who is more concerned about FLP coming in if Fijians are not united.

You are the kind of people who are therefore oppressing the Fijian people from voting on independently and supporting their own choice, only to place fear to vote for a party that they do not agree to, just in case FLP wins again.

This is like Poseci Bune who tried to make a grand Fijian coalition to chop off FLP from governing.

If you want democracy and not Frank's military, and then go back and say Fijians to unite and play race card, then what is wrong with current position. At least the militarey is running the country with all Fijians.

Isn't this best for Fijians than at least you arew sure now that at least FLP is not in Govt.

Because moving Frank = moving out of individualist politicking. You cannot have both.

Maybe this is why Fijian soldiers are now supporting Frank because he is a Fijian and they know there is no fear created for FLP win so they are in control.

Isn't this what most Fijians want afterall?

Or so what if FLP comes in although I also hate Chaudhry. Is Chaudhry worst than Aiaz given that he gave cabinet seats to majority Fijians from Fijian political Parties.

Sa Sucu Sa Lutu..

Anonymous said...

@ 12.24 anon;

You right do not allow Chiefs and politicians to use you again and again.

If another coup is what people are supporting, then they are campaigning for bloodshed for their ultimate benefit.

Go and give full support to Frank and see there will be no reason not to call the elections if everyone supports him.

This will be the fastest way to achieve democracy. When military has no opposition, then military has no reason to continue to hold power because they do not see jail in front each time they try doing something right.

If Ratu Uliu can be forgiven, then forgive all should be the motto for success, but not at expense to create another undemocratic Fiji by asking people not to vote freely due to fear FLP wins.

That approach will make elections invalid or politicaians who speak that language should be suspended from election process.

The ones who have started the fire, by striking the matchstick, and disappearing into the dark, whilst the Kaiviti are now beginning to hurle abuse at each other. It so fierce now that the Kaiviti are not mindful of customs and traditional obligations!! Just read this blog!
Who are the real spiders that begun spinning their web from the day they arrived in Fiji?
Some of those spiders are even part of this and other blogs, assuming aka's and other forms of disguises!!beware!!!
These spiders will support any government (democratic or not) as long as their interests are safeguarded...they are always sitting on the fence watching!!
Sometimes I reminisce what Butadroka used to say...I thought then that he was a fool, however, my perceptions is slowly changing.

Cannot agree more with you Kaiviti..2.19am blogger. Money can do anything. After 1987 coup, these ppl realised that the army was the single major stumbling block to their political aspiration on Fiji. Along with it was the GCC and Methodist Church NLTB. They know they could not make the numbers in the military. The only option available was to buy the military and they had the money to do that which they successfully did 19 years by way of 2006 coup. And then appeared Aiayarse one of their own whose law thesis was relevant to this aspiration - conveniently planted in the most strategic position in the regime to
decree the demise of the i taukei and all that holds them together.
