Khaiyum tells NZ programme: Elections on the way but PER needs to stay

SLIGHT OF HAND IN FIJI: Common knowledge.
The illegal attorney, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum, has told a New Zealand media team elections will be held in 2014 but Fiji is not yet ready to remove the Public Emergency Regulations.

Khaiyum has been interviewed by the TV3 current affairs programme, The Nation; the programme's presenter Sean Plunket travelled to Fiji this week to interview Khaiyum.

Publicity material by the programme describes Khaiyum as 'controverisal' and says he repeatedly maintains elections will be held in three years time but the PER and decrees need to stay in place.

The Kiwi news team is zooming in on Khaiyum because of recent publicity over the illegal AG being the real power behind the scene; the one pulling Frank Bainimarama's strings.

The programme will screen this Saturday at half past ten and then repeated Sunday morning at 8 o'clock.

The narcissist, Aiyaz, will be loving the limelight , while Frank will be loathing the loss of it from himself !
It will be very interesting indeed, to see how much longer this marriage of convenience lasts for !

If the Election is in 2014, when can the different parties start their campaigning?

Can we start in 2011 or 2012?

Will the army allow those of us who want to form a new party to start campaigning directly against the Bainimarama government, like they do in America eg the Tea Party.

When will the PER be lifted so that we can start campaigning?

Sharon can you please answer this question.

WITH ALL THE DAMAGE AND TREASONOUS ACT YOU HAVE AGAINST YOUR HEAD ALONG WITH YOUR PUPPET. DO YOU THINK YOU WANT TO GIVE UP POWER. YOU AND FRANK HAVE LIED TO THE PEOPLE OF FIJI & TO THE RFEST OF THE WORLD ABOUT THIS COUP AND GOING BACK TO ELECTIONS.

YOU BOTH CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

YOU BOTH ARE COWARDS AND AN ACT OF JUDAS TO THE PEOPLE OF FIJI.

GOD SAVE FIJI.

Khaiyum has something big on Frank if he really is the muppet master, I rekon he has slowly let Bananarama load his bank accounts in Fiji and overseas, basicaly he has let bananarama dig himself a hole that he cant get out of.
Bananarama will not hold elections in 2014 and if he does he will be running for office plus it will be rigged and their will be strict guidelines for parties involved.

It is so disappointing to read a lot of unnecessary accusations and allegations in this forum...but it is good as it helps us to assess the kind of mentality some commentators have.

A honest assessment - the fun ride under this military government has gone on for too long. It's going on 5 years since 05/12/2006; 6 years 2000 -2006; and 3 years 1987 - 1990.

Frankly, a total of 14 years, the people irrestective of racial differences have had enough and the I Taukei are very humble patient loving people. I believe the people have had enough...it is going on for too long and something is about to burst.

It is about time for Sharon, Khaiyum and company to think of exit strategies; start thinking of leaving the country. The firearms at Delainabua won't be enough to protect you.

Do not be caught in the cross fire or do not be caught like some say, with your pants down when the fun starts. Many will be coming for you and I only hope it is not as bad as Rwanda...

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Bananamarama heads a government that has NO democratic legitimacy.

The regime pays lip service to democracy with a vague promise that elections will be held in 2014.

There is no reason why elections could not be held earlier than 2014, even this year, and we have no faith that the regime intends to deliver on its vague promise.

"[T]he people of Fiji want a return to democratic rule as soon as possible. Whether it’s tomorrow, good. If it is today, good. But 2014 is too far away." - Ratu Ului Mara. Interview by Tevita Motulalo, Managing Editor, Tonga Chronicle.

When Rabuka took over, he quickly handed over to the GCC. So the GCC, the supreme institution for Fijians, said we agree with what he said and done, so we’ll give him immunity. But now, who is he going to get his immunity from.

We did not do a proper inquiry into the 2000 coup. If there was a proper inquiry into that coup, it would have stopped this coup. A lot of people were involved. Even Bananamarama has been mentioned as involved in it. He knew it was going to happen, but he went overseas. So this guy has a lot of questions to answer to. Not only 2006, it goes back to 2000. He’s got a heavy burden on his shoulders, not positive but negative burdens. He’s now developed into this, and now has no exit strategy.

Well, finally we see who the real dictator is. A simple minded coward like Frank is so easy to manipulate. On the other hand, the increasing prominence of Khaiyum talking on all issues even those way beyond his actual portfolios is a dangerous thing for Frank to allow. After all there ain't many in RFMF who like Khaiyum.

Fellow citizens of Fiji - those who have concerns for our people.

LET US SPREAD THE NEWS IN THE RURAL COMMUNITIES OF THE LIES TOLD TO US BY THE THESE CRIMINALS WHO ARE DEFRAUDING THIS BELOVED NATION.
THEY COME WITH SELF RITEOUS IDEOLOGIES TO CLEAN UP CORRUPTION. THEY HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED THEMSLVES BECAUSE THEY DIDNOT COMPLY TO THE RULE OF LAW. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE TRIED IN THEINTERNATIONAL COURT OF LAW. THEY HAVE COMMITTED EVERY THING THEY SAID THEY WANTED ERADICATED. THEY HAVE ABROGATED THE CONSTITUTION TO SUIT THEIR WRONG DOINGS.

THEY HAVE COMMITTED NEPOTISM AND HAVE MADE A MOCKERY OF THE LAW. THEY BURDENED THE POOR OF THIS NATION WITH MORE GARBAGE AND CHILDREN OF OUR CHILDREN WILL STILL BE PAYING.

THEY WILL HIDE BUT THE LAW WILL CATCH THEM. THIS WILL COME EASY IF WE START EDUCATING OUR PEOPLE OF THE BRAINWASHING THIS JUNTA IS PARTAKING. MOST IMPORTANTLY IS OUR TOGETHER LETS BUILS OUR SOLIDARITY AND FIGHT THE OPPRESSORS. WE SHALL OVERCOME, WE SHALL TRIUPHM AND VICTORY BEFALLS US AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHALL BE FREED.

MAY GOD BLESS FIJI.

Aiyaz and Reqe. You are both conmen. You can teach Peter Forster a thing or 2. Right now you both must be worried of the future. You both must be having sleepness nights. of cause you both should. You must be having plan B already designed. You must b planning the flights, the routes, transportation to Nadi etc etc.
Amnesity International must be reporting all the abuses in the camp. Thank coup4.5 the evidences were already posted in blog.

We shall hunt the criminals and lock them away in Nukulau Island with GS.
I suuport the earlier writer that we must educate and inform the public of Fiji of the obstacles gently placed on them in the form of development. WAKE UP FIJI WAKE UP NOW BEFORE OUR COUNTRY SINKS FOREVER.

Citizens of Fiji please know that THERE WILL NEVER BE AN ELECTION IN 2014. I know very well from my cousin in the Election office that there is nothing prepared. These are all lies to buy time for their ripping the people of with basic necesities of life.

These goons know very well that if there is an election = THEY WILL ALL BE TAKEN TO COURT BECAUSE THEY THREW THE CONSTITUTION OUT OF THE WINDOW + There were no corruption taken to the courts in relation to the previous Government activities.

LIES LIES LIES ARE THE NAME THIS GOVERNMENT- THE ORDER OF THE GAME.
