Cocky Fiji regime frontliners exposed as gun-toting cowboys and drunks

Hot off the press photos of the well-paid idiots who work for the military dictatorship, and the faces the Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs thinks represents the country. And is proud to strut to the international community. The Ministry has just downloaded a swag of pictures from the official visits of the illegal president Epeli Nailatikau, Inoke Kubuabola and Frank Bainimarama this year to Sinai, Japan, Indonesia etc. Here is a taste of what is available on their flicker photo stream, which you can find at:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/foreignaffairs-fiji/

SINAI HERO: Can anyone name him for us?
OUR HERO AGAIN: In a more deadly pose.
TIPPLE PRESIDENT: Nailatikau.

GOONS TRYING TO GO STRAIGHT: Ben Naliva and Frank Bainimarama in Jakarta.

Editor's Note: Thanks to Michael Field and Intelligentsiya for spotting the pics.

  9. IF U WANT TO NAME ANYONE, BE VERY PARTICULAR SO THAT COUP 4.5 AND ALL BLOGGERS GET TO KNOW THE PERSON WELL.

THE FIRST PICTURE, THE MAN IN THE t SHIRT OF BALCK / BLUE STRIPES ON A WHITE BACKGROUND HOLDING THE PISTOL IN HIS RIGHT HAND AND SMILING IS NONE OTHER THAN MR. JOELI B. ROKOVADA, THE INCUMBENT SECRETARY TO THE ILLEGAL PRESIDENT OF FIJI...HE IS FROM VUNIVAIVAI VILLAGE IN NAKELO, TAILEVU.

DO U WNAT TO KNOW WHAT I THINK OF HIM RIGHT NOW? WELL, HE IS A FOOL FOR TREATING SUCH A THING AS A JOKE, IN THE PROCESS EXPOSING HIMSELF TO BE EXPLOITED IN THIS WAY.

HIS CHURCH SUPERINTENDENT (PASTOR E.R.) HAS JUST BEEN EXPOSED IN THE MEDIA IN A NEGATIVE WAY AND NOW MR. ROKOVADA ALSO A SENIOR PASTER OF THE SAME CHURCH, IS NOW IN THE BLOG MEDIA AS A GUN-TOTING THUG FOR THE BAINIMARAMA REGIME.

MR. JBR...WHAT CAN U SAY TO THIS...THE WHOLE WORLD NOW KNOWS ABOUT THIS.

    Starkle, starkle, little twink,
Who the hell are you I think.
I'm not under what you call
    The alcofluence of incohol.
I'm just a little slort of sheep,
I'm not drunk like thinkle peep.
I don't know who is me yet,
But the drunker I stand here the longer I get.
So just give me one more fink to drill my cup,
'Cause I got all day sober to Sunday up.

  12. Like "opening the proverbial can of worms" . . . .
Only a very stupid criminal would take on what banana and sayes have done. They think they know, in their own tiny minds, but what they have done is way beyond their power. Not even Legally elected governments know where they will end up, but history shows us that the democratic, honest(as far as is possible) government will stay in power for far longer than anyone holding power with guns and lies.
We have now entered a new stage - perhaps the penultimate stage, yes there is still one more after this escalation by Unions. . . can't you just see it coming - BUT not just YET Franky, soon, but NOT YET.

  13. Sinai Hero is Marika from Nukuloa Gau. Fiji junior dropout at QVS in the 70's...started off as a TF (tabana ni sikinala) in the FMF. Always full of laughter but very thick upstairs...used to leave in Kinoya housing...not sure nowdays...may be in a taxpayer funded Govt Quarter in Muanikau

  14. Come on ,let’s be fair with our comment…Mr. Rokovada is a career senior civil servant. He may be the PS to the illegal President but like all other Civil servants is a SERVANT OF THE STATE!!

He is definitely NOT posing for a photo shoot along the tranquil sand dunes of Sigatoka. The shot was at the highly volatile environment of the Middle East where a gun and a prayer is your friend.

The “sulu vakataga” clad Co PM Rear Admiral Bainimarama was probably looking at a model of the new Naval ship to guard our maritime borders…in case his Co PM Aiyaz absconds to Wallis and Futuna.

  15. Yes, the man in the first picture is Mr. Joeli B. Rokovada, the former Commissioner Western who is now the Secretary to the illegal alcoholic cartoon like President of the Fiji Banana Republic. He is from Vunivaivai, Nakelo, Tailevu WHILE MR. ILLEGAL PRESIDENT IS A KAI TOGA WITH BLOOD TIES TO BAU ISLAND...TRYING TO USURP THE TITLE OF VUNIVALU TUI KABA OF KUBUNA CONFEDERACY...HOW COME KAI TOGA? ASK THOSE WHO KNOW INCLUDING THE QARANIVALU FAMILY OF NAVUSO AND FAMILY OF THE KING OF TONGA...DO NOT FORGET ANYONE FROM BAU, BORN AND RAISED IN BAU.

  17. Now u know the foolish Rokovada in the first picture; foolish because he did not realize the implication of the joke he had done.

He is a ANCF Pastor and he has allowed himself to be conned into the position he was in through sheer follishness and pretending to be brash and tough...leave the toughness to those who live the tough, rough and tumble way...ROKOVADA, YOU ARE NOT.

It is fine that you are working in your present position for the Fiji Government...yes you deserve that but be what you are and remain what you are... a humble family man and stay away from unnecessary media publication...

The second man holding a pistol with both hands and pretends to look tough is a wanker...that is why he is holding a pistol; to make him look tough...what a con job... and it is better to tell him that our only natural weapon are the 2 hands that GOD gave us to use and work with.

By now everybody...the whole world knows about Penioni (Ben) Naliva..SOLDIER, THUG, WOMEN BASHER, TORTURER, PSYCHOPATH, KILLER AND MURDERER WHO HIS TEACHERS AT SUVA GRAMMAR SCHOOL MISTOOK FOR A POOFY WANKER AND APPOINTED HIM HEAD BOY OF THE SCHOOL.

  18. Now I remember Marika (from Nukuloa Gau) the two-handed pistol toting wanker in the picture.

Yes the face looks rather familiar. A bludger who cons his way through schoool at Vulinitu but could not con the external examinations and did not do well in FJCE...too thick upstairs...so much cartoon and laughter to avoid being wanked. That was Marika...but now is trying to be a tough somebody...another reason he joined the Army apart from getting the only job available to him based on his qualifications because he had nothing...yes join the Fiji Army with nothing (even a Form 4 education is quite good but many have joined with Class 6, Class 7 and Class 8 education...now they are getting pAID HIGHLY

  23. What election in 2014? The dictator and the junta know that no one will vote for them if a election is called:

    1. No methodist church member will cote for the junta.
    2. No worker in civil service or private sector will vote for the junta.
    3. No present or future FNPF pensioners will vote for the junta.
    4. No woman will vote for the junta for the bashing by the dictator.
    5. No SDL and labor supporters will vote for the junta, which are more than 80% of the polpulation.

The dicatator has no exist plan and will rule for decades by decree or face court for his crimes.

Only way to get rid of the junta and dictator and the puppet master is a peoples/workers/methodist church revolution and peoples arrest of the junta and put to trial.

The people are 800000 and junta a bunch of coward thugs, who must be arrested by the citizens.

Just clean them up on an overseas trip too, easy.

They are a menace to the Fijian and international society.

  30. That proves what are the qualities of these people. Kaicolo ga. When they visit overseas they just forget where they come from and what are their real beliefs.
False pretenders are fully exposed of their realty.

These are the incompetent lazy and unproductive civil servants and that is why where Fiji is today.

Just like when the goat feeds on the green trees or plants that is the end of it so let these goons feed and finish everygood things and go back to plant cassava and bele, because the fork and eating knife are now abused.

  32. To Nix etc....

I for opposes the illegal regime. Please note our comments on blog stories reflects our educational background & ethics...for real!
I for have travelled abroad (meetings & workshops). We take pictures during our trip thus, I see no problem with the pictures of the 2 bodyguards. The pictures of the 2 bodyguards manifests the following:
    1. They are just doing their job
    2. Both ready for action if something happens since they are in the war torn area. If they are well paid i believe its through hardwork & dedication.
Annonymous: Comments that Pressie is a kai toga, is something i am sure Rt Nailatikau will never deny. Let us not stick our nose to issues that we really know nothing about it. Vinaka vakalevu.

  36. @ Sakiusa Railoa @09.01 and all those saying 'Nothing is wrong with these photos'.......

These pictures surely need scrutiny. Are they ok, intimidating, threatening, or just a load of show-offs.

Visitors into Mission areas are not allowed to carry weapons but are provided with on-site security if needed be. So, I do not know where these guns came from but we cannot say much about these bunch of crooks, they would have been snatched from somewhere. A civil servant in a military-regime posing with a pistol gun and posting the picture in public domains could best depict guerallism. Has anyone seen pictures of Ban Ki Moon's visit into any UN Mission areas where his Bodyguards are posing with their pistols? Never!!! But his Recce party had been well ahead and his security guards would be all around him. Rt Epeli holding nothing else on his hands but a glass of wine could easily means that he is trying to recover from the previous night hangover......... if true.......... what a Shame!!!!

  39. To Sakiusa Railoa,
The comments that I put does not reflect my educational background nor my ethnic. Its own personal opinion that I used. It is nothing more than what that suits them.
You travel overseas......I do as well......you take photographs......I take photos as well but not those types of unprofessionalims posings.
I have been through the wartorn countries but I dont carry and show weapons as they did. Its a big threat to their persons as anyone seeing them from outside will think that they are about to fire by somehow, so could be attacked instantly. Its not a matter of jokes. It looks simple...ok they are doing their jobs but why they doing the same acts....just showing off
You said that there was nothing wrong with the pics. Little you know that they were very intimidating and threatening.
How can you say that they are ready for action??? Are they going to war?? With who? Sa sota ga na lala ni nomudou mona. ready for actions ni demu o kaya tiko mai qori. o keimami na tamata lialia, vuli vakavo e vuku cake mai na neimami vakatulewa matau mai vei kemuni na vuli vinaka.

  40. My response to Sakiusa Railoa (SR)....

If you are a Railoa from the Railoa of Tailevu I know, then I am not surprised...typical Railoa/

You are so full of nutty mentality, covering up for people who do not give a damn about you though you may not support this illegal regime.

Supporting this illegal regime is a personal business, not worhty of mentioning here because we do not want to know anything about it or about YOU.

My comments so as the the comments of others have nothing to do with their standard of education or personal ethics but everything to do with their views, opinions, perceptions and or attitude to what are happening around them, their likes and dislikes, etc.

You will be surprised at how highly educated (PhD, Masters, First Degrees, etc) individuals who are contributing to this forum...so justy shut your trap about educational background.

What is so special about travelling abroad? We have all travelled abroad unlike people like you to serve in the Fiji Batch of Multinational Forces Overseas; for us we travel overseas to study, attend conferences, seminars and meetings. I doubt that you travel overseas for meetings as you said. This is where we are different.

We all take pictures but we do not put our pictures on the public domain for the whole world to see.

The fact that you saw no problem with the pictures of the 2 men in the public domain certainly shows how demented you are; maybe you like being indecently exposed. Indecently exposing themselves is what they have done.

What job are they doing holding a gun; maybe it is better for them to hold their natural gun. Ready for action?

What! well paid for hard work? For Fiji today that is one of the corniest intepretation of this incident I have come across.

Who is sticking his nose into the affairs of others? What do you know about what your Pressie is doing? Yes he knows it as he does not deny it but ask him to deny trying to usurp the chiefly title of Vunivalu.

As you rightly say, do not stick your nose where it does not belong........
