New revolutionary Fiji movement formed to fight 'violation of workers rights'

Intelligence sources say Fiji's trade unions have formed the Fiji Workers Revolution Movement and held its first meeting at an undisclosed venue in the West two nights ago.

Sources say the meeting was organised by the Strategic HQ and that the leaders of all the unions representing Fiji, agreed unanimously that a revolution is the only way forward.

Information shows they have agreed to and given their full mandate and financial support to the movement to organize a scientific, systematic and calculated grand workers union revolution to start next week on Monday the 8th.

The grand plot, locally and internationally, is aimed at crippling the economy on a daily basis.

Sources say the meeting adopted the establishment of a four point plan strategy, which was signed by all union affiliates. A major part of the plan is the marshalling of the international pressure to embargo all Fiji bound cargoes and goods through international ports of entry and through international airports. The detail of the four point plan and strategy will be released in our later addition.

They say the objective and focus of the plan is to show the illegal government and the world that the draconian union decree to dissolve and remove the rights of the workers and unions signed by the illegal President this week "is a direct violation of the fundamental freedom of association, movement, negotiation, reconciliation, bargaining and fulfillment of the workers basic human rights in Fiji."

The following resolutions were agreed to:

1) The meeting recognizes the formation of the Fiji Workers Revolution Movement (FWRM) as the only voice to organize and activate the national grand plot to cripple the economy through scientific, systematic and calculated revolution in all government ministries, statutory organizations, factories, companies and industries.

2) The financial assistance to run the operations of FWRM is secured through affiliate member unions and volunteer corporate business giants’ locally and internationally, plus sympathizes.

3) The union members of all Union movement in Fiji are encouraged to communicate with the office secretariat of FWRM through the Facebook adress 'Kalou Taukei' with email, cell phone, fax, telephones, numbers and tetxs.

4) Members of the unions are to be communicated with the activity for the first revolution strategy.

Sources say the meeting was the first of its kind with leaders standing up and showing strength. The Intel source said the atmosphere in the room was that of "fearless souls and the fighting hearts of warriors who show an untainted and unwavering spirit of the real battle winners."

One representative said: "We must not bow down to the devil because we are always strong in the end. History has shown unions always stand tall . This is evident in the nurses’ strike in 2000. This can be done again, like when the unions changed the regime of Chaudhry."

The Regime was doing a good job till 2009 abrogation of the constitution on Khaiyum's Advice. Then they abolished all sugar cane farmers institutions, GCC etc. Now no more unions in Fiji. All workers have to covert to muslim to get their views heard. Khaiyum is god. we have two choise, accept the Charter and Khaiyum as our new PM or start a new revolution against the muslim elites, Naz Shameem, Nur Ja Bano, Aslma Khan, Abdul Khan, Mussa, Ibrahim, Aziz,. Lets start by symbolic brurning of the Evil Qoran to reject Khaiyum's prescription of Reforms.

Hope this is true and full support if it is. Just some advice...facebook name Kalou Taukei probably won't be too encouraging for the 'non taukei' crowd...probably something like Union Solidarity or so might have more appeal.

The workers should set up road blocks as well. Grind Fiji to halt until this illegal regime steps down.

Go Unions & crush those illelgal and treasonous mo'fo's.

Your unity en masse is your best defence - its harder for them to pick you off individually.

The unions and all workers of fiji with members of the metodist church must come out and chase the junta and do citizens arrest to put them on trial like eygpt president and junta has been.

Fiji needs people power and not people charter which is a sham and lie.

Workers and people of fiji revolution is now needed to throw this junta a gang of thugs out of office and return fiji to democracy and people power and freedom.

Go for it guys....
We all know that the illegal regime will know it somehow because of the cyber age we live in,nevertheless lets start something happening.
Thumbs up for democracy.
GOD BLESS FIJI

Sooo...pretty daring move by the union, especially after the Aussie holiday a few weeks ago...may be, this time around Australia Labour Government would manifest in real tactical military maneuver an idea by a former Labour Foreign Minister ….to send in the ADF.

That would be a very sad day for Fiji’s innocent majority who just wanna move on away from this political and economic rut.

..or is it another ploy the rich union leaders uses to keep they hefty pay and job??..at the detriment of the already poor and struggling work force.

Why not we put arms, anger and prejudices aside and talk it over....we're not even a million?..

C4.5 whatever purpose was this released, i think it should have been thought out more. While I agree that you want bloggers and freedom supporters to be informed promptly but at the same time try to keep the juntas guessing where and what will come next.

Whatever........... you have my support 101%

So dont strike. Just stay home. No violence, just stop working until these goofs show some humility at least and start listening to people other than themselves.

@ Semi Meo...........

You go and talk it over with your Tauvu Bainzzz. Time to talk is over, the Decrees are being issued one after another to gag the people, keep them under control, stripped their rights, bargaining powers and so forth. Coming out of the political and military rut is only possible through freedom fight, sweat and blood but not “your talk-it-over”.

Of all your big-mouth, I have slowly noticed that you are too damn afraid of confrontation. Drau Boce!!! If you had never been in the union before, come and join, we teach you courage-ship, having the balls to stand up against an illegal regime. That does not come overnight but through hardship, imprisonment, sworn and abused at, even many have died for similar causes. You have been on employment for the last period of time, me and plenty others had lost them after the 2006 coup and never regained, many times we have little to put on the table to eat with our families, we cried out in despair, so, we do not see much big hurdles around if we go another strategic mile.

Again no wonder, you had pessimistically argued that NO-ONE can do NOTHING, simply because your thinking and strategy is a receipt for disaster, chaos, and landslide defeat and the illegal juntas to rule forever.

Best news so far but I just hope there is truth to it and that Strategic HQ is supporting the move and finally standing up for the people. We can't be passive and sit idle and expect change. On another note this critical info should have been withheld until the ball was rolling and change was on the way.Don't give up people.I say put a bounty of the CEO of Air PAC too and take him out along with his bum chum ASK and the Consultants who are living a lavish life on Denarau and getting paid ridiculous amounts and screwing locals jobs literally, ask the Air PAC HR Manager Vikashni Sheila.A security guard who had been in the company for years was fired for checking up on noises coming from the HR Office only to find the HR manager getting nailed to her table by one of the Consultants.Easy cover up,fire him.Not a care for his family and the mouths he has to feed.Wake up people it's time to rise up against this evil

@Meo

When will you stop talking about this bullshit of talking things over. This government is not willing to talk let alone listen. If people want freedom in Fiji they will have to suffer first; fight and bare the consequences of the struggle or remain slaves to this regime.

Anonymous said...

@ Semi Meo.

Best of knowlege AUS goverment nor ADF not in favour of 'send in the ADF' as both are aware of a watershed incident several years ago when a senior Kiwi politician conveyed a similiar "daylight" proposal to his NZ military counterparts - only to subsequently decline their kind invitation to accompany on their brave expedition to Nadi Town.

Q's you must ask yourself is why bother exploding something that's already imploding?

Anonymous said...

Good move but you have got the facts wrong in terms of informing us - the public. Unions did not remove the Chaudhry Government. It was a bunch of thugs backed by some rich individuals who knew they would be liable for millions in tax if the 1999 government continued to be in power.

Anonymous said...

With all the happenings in Fiji where people are suffering, either Bainimarama is comatose and does not realize what is happening or he just does not want to know because he and his family live a lavish lifestyle and what does he care about others.

As for Kaiyum and all his buddies and relatives, they are too far gone to care in the slightest. Of course some people there like the redhead, have no conscience to reconcile the LIES, LIES, LIES.

Bainimarama: wake up and help the people of Fiji You will be judged by God. You and your family.

Sir/Madam…I totally empathize with you as I have also been a victim of a draconic decree. Many of my close family members and friends are aware that I am just slowly recovering from the “slums”..

I agree, though that even if we loss employment/Business in Aust; ample assistance available to survive.

Please be assured that I have never ever denied or minimized the suffering of the masses in Fiji, obviously worsened by the prolonged strangling of human rights by Fiji’s Co Prime Ministers.

HOWEVER, like many, I still DO NOT believe that violent confrontation will solve our problem…but, I am only a wee tiny voice in the cyber sphere….of course, I have no control what so ever over those who may think and wish to dramatize their “violent” solution.

We say again....let us talk it over!!..in an all inclusive format involving the 940,000 Fijians on earth!!

YLEI NAVUA said...

So much for the "'PEOPLES CHARTER"'
It's just toilelt paper scribbled with worthless shit...

I take my hat of for Adi Ateca Ganilau who made a stand not to support the CHARTER hopin now everyone in fiji would see through her vision....

Peoples Charter will take all our rights n leave all citizens voiceless, jobless, landless,no fishing rights, even so will have a decree for no religious
services on weekdays only to be held on main sundays and SDA on saturdays.

We're getting there shortly and even so we will need a permit for shopping, driving or hanging out in public even to have SEX or to go to the toilet

Now the vision is clear....

You are more than welcome to pursue your strategy of talking things over with your friend Voreqe. See how far you can go.

You sound like, only you and your family have been victims of coups; come on man you are behaving like an ostrich.

@Jieke...do you understand English, or what??..re-read my post..I made honorable attempts to be very inclusive in trying to affirm that the majority of us are victims of the ravaging Coups by your mentor Rear Admiral Bainimarama!!...maybe not you..hence, your water tight committement to further support tactics to destabilize Fiji's economy and no care of the social fall out in the painful years ahead!!

Your direct reply to my email is become monotonous…..."qaerauna de ra nanuma o ira na kena vo ni daru veiwedevi tiko!!...ia, barewa mada ga yani!!

Give the Attorney General a chance to correct some of the major problem associated with the Union in Fiji. The major one is the right of someone to come from outside and form a Union in another company without working for that particular company or organization. This in my opinion is a political strategy thought-up by former political organizations to manuever the peoples votes etc, etc,.This is a purely mercenary tactics. The organisor who is normaly got himself in as the General Secretary of the Union be formed is an outsider? It only happen in FIJI!Elsewhere in the world one has to work in the organization to become an office bearer of their Union. So lets straighten this manipulation out first?

Anonymous said...

Obviously some people have no idea how a union functions and why employers want people from within an industry to represent workers.Gosh,so obvious,to manipulate them and scare them during negotiations that he/she will lose their job or bribe them with a promotion so the employer benefits, why is it so difficult to understand their motive.
Also workers have to relise that the conditions of employment that they currently enjoy has not come about overnight. It is these unionists and members of unions that have fought long and hard and many sacrifices and to think that the decree expects someone from within the industry to re-negotiate terms and conditions within 60 days is ridiculous and low and only low life people like Aiarse and Baini can do such things 'cos they have such low mentality and are thorough dickheads.Workers in Fiji must rise and defend themselves otherwise it's agreeing to outright slavery.
