Revolution group calling for bus and taxi drivers to stay off the road on Monday

FROM GRAFFITI TO STRIKE DAYS: Viti Revolution Forces.
The Viti Revolutionary Forces (VRF) is stepping up its campaign against the regime. It's now calling on bus and taxi operators in Fiji to stop work on Monday and join the movement in acts of civil disobedience as a protest against the rule of the unelected government.

VRF has dubbed next Monday (August the 29th), as "NO WORK, NO SERVICE DAY."

The group is timing the action for the court hearing of trade unionist, Daniel Urai of FTUC.

VRF has adopted a more aggressive tone and is warning its request will become demands if not met, saying it will carry out the necessary steps to make sure it achieves its goal.

"VRF has demonstrated their capabilities on the buses with a small operations (as pictured) and if they do not adhere to the kind request by the VRF, unfortunately and sadly, they will face the consequences.

"Same goes with the taxi operators, and ignorance of VRF request will be dealt severely.

"We do not intend to harm any civilian or their property. We do understand this is your bread and butter. But sacrifices have to be made and it has to be done NOW."

The Group says it will do everything it can to destabilise the regime and it needs the help of Fiji.

It is also calling on the unions and other political and non-political organisations to get their workers to declare Monday a "NO WORK, NO SERVICE DAY".

It says: "We are watching. Your co-operation will be greatly appreciated, otherwise will be dealt accordingly."

well done guys, i hope u can return fiji to its very best again,my friends have just been for holiday they have'nt said anythig good about fiji... they told me that fiji has gone back 30yrs, Bai n kaiyum are only there for themself...
you don't know how the people of fiji and abroad are relying on your organization to lock this guys up for life...

ok guys, now i suggest we start collecting funds to fund the VRF..

I highly recommend running fundraising drive in all overseas countries, and in Fiji as well.

Requesting all businesses to submit their VATs to VRF, and not to this illegal regime.

my 2cents... comments would be highly welcomed, and even C4.5 can facilitate this.

WHAT SAYS GUYS?????

VRF, I SUPPORT YOU ALL THE WAY..THIS DUMB REGIME ARE SHOCKED!! AND DO NOT KNOW HOW TO COUNTER EXCEPT THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE TO BUY MORE PAINT .SINCE,THIS IS A WAR OF SPRAY PAINT AND PAINT!! MY ADVICE TO YOU AG/BAINI/BANU,IMPORT MORE PAINT TO HIDE THE TRUTH BUT THE MORE YOU PAINT THE TRUTH THE MORE THE TRUTH WILL SURFUR FROM OTHER UNEXPECTED LOCATION...HAHAHA!!! VRF HAVE STUDIED AND ANALYSED YOU SO WELL THAT THEY KNOW YOU MORE THAN YOU KNOW YOURSELF...GO VRF !! VERY STRATEGIC!!

VRF ,good on you.
People of this country must rise in support of VRF,we have had enough.
Salute you folks for starting the campaign.
Urge all people must stay away from work and grow a spine.Enoug is enough.

Anonymous said...

We now need an alternative government. Can VRF form this?

All workers and business can start sending their VAT and PAYE to this alternative government.

Anonymous said...

Dont think forcing people to strike will help. Look at the major strikes in the middle east - they were successful because people came voluntarily. Forcing people to go on strike otherwise you will damage their properties? YOu will be no better than the Regime.

would be nice to see this sprayed on nazhaat, aslam, nur bano and the groups personal cars...

take your momentum to the next level children of Fiji, and personalise your attacks on the supporters of the regime....

As long as the VRF leader don’t end up a dictator himself/ herself like the infamous Cuba revolutionist FIDEL CASTRO. He ended up killing his own comrades whom he suspected to be against his cause!!

VRF’s statement saying “"We are watching. Your co-operation will be greatly appreciated, otherwise will be dealt accordingly." is seriously signalling the beginning of a “cause going wrong”.

Be careful VRF that you don’t hurt us more than the illegal regime.

Thanks VRF. Qai macala sara mada....lets criple this unelected, self proclaiming regime together. Its just so funny how an unelected government comes up with all this laws and passes self approved bills..shoves it down the throat of Fiji citizens. We are not fools...Vore and aiy-arrsee...u can take your PER and wipe your backsides with it now. Remember...your days are numbered.

Anonymous said...

Now it is about time we take this to the next level.

We urgently need to make VRF stronger!!

Can the governments of Tonga/Samoa run a fundraising drive to fund the VRF movement please.

Anonymous said...

It is now high time that all forces in Fiji join hands with the VRF now!!

One voice!!

Time for regime change is NOW

Anonymous said...

ACT now or NEVER!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Fiji does not need a rebelious group, but if those in control do no act now, this will become the worst ever scenario.

Please the governments of Australia/New Zealand/Samoa and Tonga, act NOW

Would be nice to see this in the Western buses and taxis as well !

It says: "We are watching. Your co-operation will be greatly appreciated, otherwise will be dealt accordingly." So much for DEMOCRACY! If we are to threaten the very people who are are supposed fighting for, inorder to get their support, than we are just as bad as the Regime or even worse! How can any right thinking person belive this is correct! This just like the Drug War Lords in South America-threaten the common people to do what their want against the Govt or anyone that apposes them! No one wnats to take a leaf off Gahndhi Book, or Martin Luther King or close to our times Mandela??
Sorry threats don't work with me and many in Fiji will just ignor it! If there is a lesson to learn its from Reverand Josateki Koroi-pity an 80 year has more guts that this mob called the VRM! It just won't work guys because Fiji is too small a place to hide things and the coconut wireless always works overtime in such situations!

Tevita Temo..12:43pm If VRF members were a bunch of very stupid and unskilled a people as you may think then ignore them...I don`t think you are able to do that `cause they`ve brought the fight to your door step.To real men who do not stand behind the barrel of the gun `graffiti`painting all over Fiji requires courage knowing full well they`re up against. You in your comfort zone in that uniform with your M16,issuing the challenge to somebody who is already out there spraying `graffiti`all over the place is rather ..oops..stupid of you and put this in your head permanently,..out of your uniform and without your piece anyone with `soresore` will take you on.Oni sa waraki saka tiko!!!!`

I agree with Anon. August 26, 2011 10:59 AM
Please don't destroy public property VRF...just damage those that belong to Vore and his goons....

I know a lot of sacrifices need to be made but asking the buses and the taxis won't do...I mean these hardworking taxi drivers/bus drivers are getting by on meager incomes...it might sound easy to you but they really need to feed their families @ the end of the day....

I thought VRF is supporting Felix Anthony and his challenge to the regime.

Who elected the pisspot dictator, tin pot morally bankrupt no school dictator, hand puppet master molbi and dozen junta thugs holding fiji hostage.

800000 people need freedom and reolution to free fiji.

Fiji needs people power and junta can wipe its buttucks with people charter.

The 800000 people must do citizen arrest and put the dozen junta on trial for crimes and free fiji.

The crook dictator who is paying himself 700000 with puppet master and paid corrupt 200000 leave must stand trial.

Fiji needs people power for democracy, rule of law, justice, human-worker and people rights, free media.

How many people can the coward PER junta arrest and torture?

No one elected them and are force line- must be citizen arrested.

Remove the PER cowards or give Permits and see the real people power.

PER or no PER face the 800000 people citizen arrest- its war and people revolution.

The only way you can get rid of the ILLEGAL GOVERNMENT is to STOP paying them to stay in power. If we all just stopped paying our taxes, npf, rates etc.... there only source of income right now !!!Without money they will lose power ,with out money they wouldnt be able to afford to keep the miltary boys and police on there side ,Without money they wouldnt be able to afford there luxury lifestyle.Without money they are finished. Its not going to make much difference to the poor fiji citizens who are already living of the land and sea because we cant afford to buy basic items like bread ,butter and tea. The Economy is already f...ked .We are just all so stupid that we have kept them Afloat this long. So come on every body ,rise up grow some balls and STOP paying for a bunch of boys who one day decide they wanted to become the leader and we just all sat there and let them.

How come people here think that scribbling on walls is fighting the Govt?

Why destroy the property of others who have done you no wrong, just so that you can claim you are fighting for something?

If scribbling on walls could bring back democracy, then it would be worth it, but as it is, all you are doing is damaging others property just like Bainimarama is damaging the country.

He is ruining our economy, and you helping him by damaging property that was built off the sweat of my back.... yes, I pay VAT, I pay income tax, and you come and damage it for nothing!!

You are just common criminals like B and A.

INDIANS WERE THE EXCUSE IN 1987.
Every Afro-Negroid country has coups. Blame Indians as much as you like-
Coups happen all over the world in 87 Afro countries (Angola to Zimbabwe)
To get Afros out of poverty/crime- throughout the world- LETS FIRST MAKE A COMMITMENT TO DEMOCRACY-NOT RACE IN FIJI. If an INDIAN wins- accept the verdict and if the kaidia does not make the country progress, VOTE HIM OUT IN THE NEXT ELECTIONS- NO COUPS- NO KAIDIA WONT TAKE YOUR LAND- HE SIMPLY CANNOT!
INFACT NO ONE CAN-Can a Lauan take Bauan land? just by passing law? TIME TO GROW UP
This is the only way for Afro/ Negroid of the world
The Afros are the bottom of the human development index throuout the world . FIJI WAS DOING WELL BCOS RT MARA ALWAYS KNEW INDIANS WERE IMPORTANT. HE NEVER MADE BLATANT ANTI INDIAN RULES. He did at times sound like it to please the Part-europeans who held 8 seats and the balance of power.
THE EUROPEANS AND VASUS would be happy as long as anything was anti Indian. THEY HELD THIS INFERIORITY COMPLEX AND RESENTED INDIANS SUCESS AT ALL LEVELS.

then they wouldn't have to scribble it at the Busstop.

VRF is doing the right thing.

Bainimarama will not listen to anything except Violence.
Time and time again he has bullshit us with "DIALOGUE". More like monologue.
Then unfortunately people have to resort to Violence.
This is just the natural consequence of 5 yrs of bullshit.

@Anon 6.14PM

Two rights don't make a wrong.

WHat you are saying is that there are only two options... either freedom of expression in newspaper, or destroying others property.

That is both childish and unchristian (I mention this because just a few days ago we were supporting our methodist leaders).

There are other ways to achieve the same target without damaging others property... eg. someone else here suggested burning tires on the roads. This shouldn't do much or any damage, but will be much more disruptive and have a bigger impact than scribbling on walls.

Put a tire in your car, drive to an important spot in the city, drop the tire, sprinkle kerosene on it, and throw a match before speeding away.

Simple.

@Scribbler
What I'm trying to communicate is that it is more effective to communicate with "words or scribble" rather than "smoke signals".
We are not even allowed to make a DVD on Democracy for the villagers. Bainimarama bashes people up for that.
So how else do you expect us to communicate?
This is one way of communicating to the villagers.
Unfortunately my friend "Freedom always comes with a price".

Bainimarama has chosen the way of Violence;
and Violence shall surely pay him a visit.

So you don't want your children to know the truth.
The truth that Bainimarama is a liar.
I think it is time for us Fijians to FACE the TRUTH.
Face the truth about ourselves.
Face the truth about our sweeping things under the carpet.
Face the truth of not dealing with criminal activity ("The Coup")
Face the truth of ignoring the elephant that is standing there in the room and behaving as if there is nothing wrong.
What kind of future generation are we trying to produce?
We have to be honest with ourselves!
Why shield our children from the truth
The Bible says Tell your children the Truth. Tell them when they sit down. Tell them when they rise up.Tell them when they go by the wayside.
Moses asked a young man once by the name of Achan, he said "Honor God, my son and speak the truth" And Achan said "Yes I did it" and Achan and all his family was stoned to death.
So Face the Truth my brother. Let your children see the Truth.
Don't hide it!

Long live VRF.
Keep spraying the Graffitti.

An international meeting organized by the illegal VB regime is going to be held in Nadi next week - the 1st and 2nd of September.

This is a good opportunity to make a statement and to show those attending that we in Fiji do not like Bainimarama and his illegal regime. That we want democracy and an immediate end to the regime.

How many Bainivore loyal soldiers are out there? If there are 10 000 of them we need to start 200 riots to split them up 200 times before muscling them. Coordination is needed.

If the Military Govt is not doing well then compare it with the Qarase Govt with its ethnic based policies. The current Govt is just in eradicating the high level of racism that had been introduced by the previous govt, even though the way it has approached to doing it (is wrong to some extent, but how do you expect to do it anyway). We have seen without the support of Aus and NZ a lot more development (in infrastructure at least) than we saw from the previous govt. The govt should work with the people which it is trying to do the best but due to some morons who have very limited knowledge on economic policies and GDP measures and also can just think negative from all angles, the current govt has faced difficulties. The Bainimarama govt has done more development in the rural communities than any elected govt and I support them for this. I truly support P Fongs comments who I understand has knowledge of history and understanding of political agenda.

The VRF is making threats on the one hand, but saying they will not harm people or damage their property, yet say do as we say or suffer the consequences??? It all sounds so dictatorial...Meet the new boss...same as the old boss.
As for grafitti everywhere..who do you think is paying to have all this mess and damage up? You're not pulling together boys.

Exageration will not win any friends.
Painting signs on walls is not "destroying property". It is only paint, and can be painted over at a later date by the owners who should be proud to say that they actually paid a small token price for the liberation of Fiji.

...So keep up the pressure by telling these criminals that everyone knows how bad they are for Fiji, and that the cure for Fijis ills will be very bad for banana and pooibums health.

Don't forget the long list of crimes that they are guilty of and the massive billions of dollars that are lost to the Fiji economy as a result of their criminal rule.
The little bit of infrastructure that they have bribed the people with, whilst skimming millions from the contracts given to construction companies to do the work, are just token bribes to fool the people into believing that banana and pooibum are the good guys ... sooo, don't forget the long list of crimes against you.

In the words of one of the signs directed at the soldiers themselves ... stop allowing banana to use you against the people ... WAKE UP !

To those advocating burning Suva. You are as mad as banana, WAKE UP!

The cure is simple and we all know what it is.

It's not a freedom movement when one makes threats against people not complying with their request just becomes another thug organisation. Change cannot come with threats so here we go one thug group wants to remove another what a joke. Who knows this vrf could be bogus group set up by the army ? Do not and will not support faceless people who want to achieve their own goals at the expense of the people of Fiji through fear, makes you no better than the current evil bastards who are running the country now

Do your guys think this worth it??..look vandalism around the street this what we wanna teach our children. no offenses but what you guy doing are properly the best thing to you people. but to people me like voicing once opinions is a way forward but violence is not the way. recently fiji has picked and recorded the best tourist record by far. if we keep on doing this throwing people from the goverment we will not move forward. the last took over had affect alot of innocent people this people are the poor ones, by doing this guys are making the poor people to suffer they are already suffering. i m not supporting the governt or the vrf but the affect we fijian should work together in order to make the election happen not by throwing each other from the govt. look what the people in this govt did 1st made eduction available to people who couldn't afford to have qualifications and get a job..what about the govt before that just good in making people suffer while is minster fill there pocket with the money of those poor people. this govt made fiji alot of changes that the old govt could not promise or dream of. its shame on the vrf what they are doing you guyz are making the poor more poor...shame..i feel sorry for guys.. i m proud of my nation but not proud of what is going on..'we one we are fiji' like the national anthem says but we its a pity that whats going on...:(..god bless our nation fiji
