Fiji media banned while MSG delegates view 'promo' video

SELF-IMPORTANCE: Bainimarama at MSG meet.

DELEGATES: Treated to movie
Proof today the unelected government of Frank Bainimarama is using the Melanesian Spearhead Group meeting to promote more lies about how well it is running the country.

Media were today ejected so a video could be shown to visiting foreign ministers from the 14 countries, although just the prime minister from Tuvalu was there.

The video apparently pushes how well the regime is doing and money was spent on making it to show the illegal government in a good light.

Sources also say Bainimarama told delegates 65% of people in Fiji support the controversial People's Charter.

Many will recall that when the Charter was being promoted around the country, Bainimarama said it was going ahead whether people liked it or not.

Sources also say Bainimarama told delegates voter registration for the 2014 election is well underway.

The regime's election plans have been closely guarded and few people believe free, democratic elections will come to Fiji in three years time.

Sources say media weren't allowed to ask any questions and say they wouldn't put it pass the regime to use villagers in its sham promotional movie to say they supported the Peoples Charter.

A treaty which was supposed to be signed yesterday has been delayed until tomorrow because the leaders of PNG, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands have not arrived yet.

The PS for Misinformation, Sharon Smith Johns, had said earlier in the week all leaders would be in the country by Wednesday.

Sources say Bainimarama did not look a happy man because of the poor turnout, a far cry from when he was prancing around when the first MSG meeting was held in Natadola.

It was also noticeable there were more police and soldiers than delegates. The police launched a special operation,Yatu Pasifika, for this meet but it was clear the soldiers were in charge, arriving in flash government vehicles.

From today's meeting came the news, too, that Papua New Guinea turned down the offer to host the first MSG Games, which was supposed to match the Pacific Games and the mini Pacific Games coordinated by the Pacific Islands Forum.

Fiji's call for the removal of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretary-General, Tuiloma Neroni Slade, has, meanwhile, been unanimously endorsed by Melanesian countries.

The real Forum starts in Auckland next week and will be attended by the Commonwealth Secretary General Kamlesh Sharma and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.

one point to be noted , if many countries do not recognised this baini/idiot govt and the ones who have supported likes if India , China , Solomons etc and just one day democratic govt comes in and they turn around and say any transaction initiated by this illegal regime will not be honoured , all money , loans etc will not be paid as poeple power did not mandated them. What will happen then . I think we should start singing this tune to and tell this countries to get their returns direct from baini/aryse .food for thought.

Note that the meeting was held at Tanoa, YP Reddy's hotel, a regime supporter and a corrupt crook.

Once the regime collapses, YP Reddy and his family along with Tappoos should be taken to jail and locked up forever.

Silly people. Ruining the once a beautiful country.

ICC case against Kenyan officials to proceed

The ICC has dismissed an appeal by the Kenyan government to throw out the cases against six high-ranking national officials, including a deputy prime minister, two ministers and a police chief, for possible crimes against humanity in the post-electoral violence that wracked the east African country three years ago.
The ICC Appeals Chamber ruled that no legal, factual or procedural error could be discerned in the pre-trial chamber’s decisions in May to proceed with the cases.
More than 1,100 people were killed, 3,500 injured and up to 600,000 forcibly displaced in the violence that followed the December 2007 elections. There were also hundreds of rapes, possibly more, and at least 100,000 properties were destroyed in six of Kenya’s eight provinces, according to ICC Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo.
Appeals Chamber presiding judge Daniel David Ntanda Nsereko explained that for the cases to be inadmissible a national investigation must be ongoing, covering the same individuals and substantially the same conduct as alleged before the ICC.
The Chamber ruled that the Pre-Trial Chamber made no error when it found that the government had failed to provide sufficient evidence to substantiate that it was investigating the six suspects for the crimes alleged in the ICC summonses.

Point of note whoever is the source of this article is full of crap, becuase for one the media was not told to get out when so the video was played, two the video is a ten minute documentary on the progress of the roadmap its a check and balance account showing the progress as per Pillar.
OK you will now think I am a know for a support of the Government, well that would be up to the individual...For now however, while I enjoy reading this blog-site..it needs to be more credile now and be truthful. This article is NOT TRUE.

The Socio-Economic Dynamics Which Are Evolving Cannot Be Stopped... It's TOO FAR GONE...The End Is Not Too Far Off Now!

MATAVUVALE said...

Who is he hiding from?

No news media.

Only one MSG member present
MSG having just nominated a chairman from his dreaded SDL party.

What is Fruitcake Frank trying to do?

65% support the charter?

I think he means 65% of those who turned up at the meetings, not of the population of Fiji
That kind of statistic would take a referendum or election, and supervised by an international body, to be credible.
Perhaps Frank thinks he can put one over on the Melanesians.

no point being a hindrance in this inevitable process now unfolding

the socio-economic dynamics which are evolving within the economy and in Govt itself can't be stopped now - i've already pointed it out earlier this week. its too far gone.

all the countries in the region know where its heading - even the MSG guys.

the Governer General of New Zealand, Anand, has said that they will just need to stand by and assist Fiji when this whole thing comes to its end - which is not far off now. we are already heading into the outer fringes of this perfect storm - an economic (and now social) storm created by misguided policies and decisions by those who have assumed the responsibilities of Government over us via the gun.

unlike previous messes the responsibility for this catastrophic meltdown will not and cannot be passed on ala passing the buck - it is now resting squarely with Govt.

Does Frank really care about the MSG and it's principles?

About two months ago, Frank and Aiyarse's foreign affairs puppets Kubuabola and Solo Mara worked together to remove Director General of MSG from PNG (Rima Ravusiro).

This is because, apart from other things, he would not compromise the MSG constitution and principles and advised against Frank taking the Chairmanship of the MSG.

Now that Ravusiro has been removed, expect Frank and Regime to support a more malleable puppet DG so they can continue to get the MSG to drive their agendas. Watch the regime continue to con PNG, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and the Kanaks to give the Regime that recognition that neither the International Community and the people of Fiji are giving Frank and Co.

Kubuabola was a close friend of Ravusiros in PNG but had no qualms about betraying a close friend who stood up for what is right by hand delivering a termination letter from Frank.

Watch the lawless regime crap over the MSG and its leaders just like it has done to all the organisations and institutions in Fiji.

I urge the MSG leaders to heed the warnings of Roko Ului Mara about this lawless regime and stand together with the people of Fiji to uproot lawlessness from Fiji and our MSG region.

In Australia . . the Rudd Government turned out to be a dictatorship. He did not take advice or committee/majority decisions, consequently, too many poorly thought through policies resulted in his own party-Julia Gillard rebelling against him.
Now ... in the closing days of Julias rule after her riding roughshod over the Australian peoples majority opinion about the so called "carbon tax" (and a long line of grose waste of tax payers money) she is about to be kicked out of her PM position and her party has no ware to go, but to be wiped out at the nexy election.

@ Sydney Tourist or Anonymous 9.48am - at least in Australia they have a democratically elected govt! When you don't perform to the people's expectations, you are voted OUT! Not like in Fiji - where there is a dictator and his master (because the dictator is an uneducated, half schooled goon) telling him what to do!

VRF!! may be its good idear to burn of some Gov vehicles to send a realy strong message to this so call MSG meeting, may be it wiil give BAI n kaiyum a heart attack or a short life span!!!

So, Bainimarama thinks he will lead Fiji into general elections in 2014 under a constitution modelled on his vision of the People's charter. At least that's what he told the gathering of MSG leaders and officials all of whom looked pretty bored listening to his lies on how Fiji is (not) doing his repressive regime.

Well, VRF and the people of Fiji will ensure that Baini is long gone from the scene before 2014 arrives. He is on his way out - there is no doubt about it!

Pacific leaders particularly those from the MSG should not be wasting their time with him. He is a hated man in Fiji who along with his side kicks is to pay the price for the sins he has committed on the people.

He is cursed by the Church for his satanic (mis)deeds. He, his cabinet and cronies and the Lucifer in his Cabinet will have stakes driven through their hearts in a sacrificial ceremony to cleanse the nation of evil elements.

In the 2nd photograph, the woman on the end of the row of junior officials appears shocked to read on her mobile phone, the text message from VRF.

Great to see that they reached this holiday makers.

Dictators who rule absolutely eventualy run out of time in direct proportion to their ability to rule wisely/justly. . . the worse they are the shorter their time and the bigger the fall - bigger meaning the more drastic the "take down" method. There is nothing they can do to prevent it, they may delay it, but delay just makes the end more gruesome for them.
As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow . . . .

It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the people who have the means . . to remove bad government.

It has been made known publicly that His Excellency, Larry Dinger, the former US Ambassador has declared the Vore INSANE!!!!
Closer to home, the learned Samoan PM has also said likewise. Yet these overseas nitwits who are currently here have voiced their support for this Illegal regime.
The Samoan PM and Mr Dinger have had the upbringing, the education, the exposure and have "done the rounds" to KNOW what they are talking about.
Either these unwelcome people have their heads buried in the sand OR are as uneducated, crooks and compulsive liars like the Vore and his bunch of crooks. I am of the honest opinion that it is the latter!!!! Remember - 'Birds of the same feather flock together"!!!!
To you UNWELCOME thick heads - IT IS SELF-PRESERVATION mode for these bunch of liars here - it is NOT about good governance, it is NOT about a better Fiji tomorrow. Hear and KNOW this from the horses mouth - They simply do not want to go to prison!!
Why are you people swallowing what he says, hook, line and sinker??
The sooner you leave our shores the better!!!!
