The photos are a tad blurry but the info from the Aussie tourist who took them paints a pretty vivid picture.
Our visitor was at the prestigious Warwick Hotel, between Sigatoka and Nadi, this week the same time as the unelected prime minister and wife, Mary, and family.
The resourceful informant managed to sneak a couple of pictures of Bainimarama and to chat up a bodyguard who let slip that the illegal leader and clan had booked five deluxe pool-side rooms from Thursday the 6th to Monday, October the 10th.
The bodyguard revealed they had been told to treat the family like Kings and Queens: private tables and buffets set up just for them, with their own 'VIP' butler while other bodyguards were posted all over the Warwick under the guise of hotel workers.
But our Aussie tourist was less than impressed with what they said was some of the Bainimarama's 'classy behaviour' while living it up at the hotel, including seeing Fiji's self-appointed leader eat with his fingers.
According to our visitor, Lady Mary was also seen passed out in a chair in the Hibiscus Lounge "after yet another hard night on the turps", the evening of the Rugby World Cup game between Australia versus South Africa.
Soldier son Meli was also spotted later that night hanging out at the night club bar wearing his sunglasses at the top of his head, over his hoodie, in what our visitor said was a pretty tacky look.
