Insiders tip changing of the guard to shake off the ambitious Khaiyum

Khaiyum: Clearly loving the limelight (above) but having to take a back seat (below). pics MINFO

Strong rumours and talk at RFMF that major changes will be made after Frank Bainimarama returns from China.

Insiders say the shake-up will come as a real shock to some.

Information at hand suggests that Fiji's illegal leader is bringing back his former Navy deputy and most trusted man, Commodre Esala Teleni, as confirmed Minister for Defence.

Information further suggests that Neumi Leweni, who is also in China at the moment, will be posted as Fiji's new ambassador there.
But insiders say there will be a catch: Esala Teleni will also act as deputy prime minister in his new appointment and that the illegal attorney general, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum, is to lose the privilege that he has so clearly been enjoying.

Insiders say Khaiyum was only ever allowed to fill in as acting prime minister, a role he has obviously relished, because of a clever army strategy: "to give him all the rope so he can hang himself.'

They say that Khaiyum's deep and burning ambition to take over from Number One has been well and truly exposed (sources say Khaiyum never even told Bainimarama a plaque was being made for him by Fiji National University) and he is about to be shut down.

Insiders claim that combined with his and police commissioner Ioane Naivalurua's earlier conspiring to get rid of Esala Teleni, Khaiyum's falling for the army trap will lead to the wanna-be PM "getting booted out of the system with whatever he has piled up, and the army taking the country to early elections".

The latest Wikileaks cable has New Zealand-based academic, Sitiveni Halapua, revealing to charge d'Affaires, Richard K. Pruett, that Khaiyum was the one who rallied the Military Council to oppose the political forum dialogue.

John Samy had convinced Bainimarama to convene a "Presidential  Political Dialogue Forum" to facilitate the conducting of a general election "as soon as practically possible" but Khaiyum persuaded the Council to go against it.

The cable says Khaiyum rejected the talks as 'ill-conceived' and uneccessary.  Halapua says "Khaiyum seemed to think that the October 9 high court ruling dismissing the main legal challenge to the 2006 coup had given the regime carte blanche that obviated the need for any conciliatory measures for the present."

  7. The Mlitary should arrest and have brought to Court all in the current regime (including Bhaini )plus all others who have helped in/caused the abuses. thievery and so on.

When that is done then the military should retire itself under the "Ratu Sukuna" pension scheme ie ...................

  20. Fiji, please make sure that American mega con artist and egomaniac David Pfliger of Air Pacific is on that same rap charge as AG - both illegal wannabes! Boot them out - they are destroying Fiji and AIR PACIFIC - "The pride of the Fijian Skies."

  21. In fact the bastard Vuakamarama is too scared to get rid of Aiyarsehole. This is turning into a bigger circus. The trainers and the animals are turning on each other. Just sit back and enjoy this illegal regime crumble.

There will be another coup coming up. Vuakamarama will be shot while trying to run across the cassava patch, Aiyarsehole will be arrested trying to flee the country. The ugly Shitmeem sisters will try and switch sides, epic fail. The useless boy scouts from the military will all of a sudden come out clean. Too late you mofos.

  22. Be warned readers digest as these are just rumours and nothing has been confirmed yet..as for Teleni coming back..what a laugh and a joke he will be..firstly he flopped so badly as Police commisioner using Police budget for his brothers spiritual crusade charade..plus the very embarrasing video footage of him barking @ Indian Police officers for not wanting to jump on his Jesus Loves You padyywagon..haahaa..most embarassing will he be a very defense minister as he would very much cant defend himself as he is too fat and has a pot bellu with crooked eyes..how could anyone be so dumb and stupid in having a reatard as defense minister..as for Khaiyum..enjoy your other 5 minute of fame and living the high life cause real justice is coming and Naboro awaits and I will see to it that you dont escape to china..

  23. Thats all right but why publish this and give Kai the heads up of what is likely to happen. You guys are letting him prepare for his defense now. Couldn't this info be kept silent this he was given the boot. Now he has been given a heads up to defend himself...

  24. The military Council have been trying to get rid of the AG since 2008. The AG has seen off Teleni, Driti and Mara. The PM no longer listens to the Military Council. Don’t get me wrong I hate the AG but he will only go when Baini goes. Please remember it is the AG with his hand up the puppet

  27. @M&M.

Real behind the scenes puppeteers in all this are the faceless men
who comprise the ruling MC - some of whom also may have outstaning issues with the deaths in custody of the 5 CRW boys. Don't be mislead by numbers - these numbers have names - torture & murder is not defined by mathmatics - damage something like this causes within closeknit Taukei society is devastating.
    Imagine if it was you?
List is endless - uncle - brother -nephew - tavale etc.

What a "classic" picture of Frank at some function with all his gleaming medals hanging from his left sagging breast while Up-tight Mary sits upright behind like she smells something bad. And Aiyarse so far up their asses you can hardly see the top of his sulu. How loathsome!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Let me connect the dots for you. Frank can't kick Aiyaz to the curb because he thinks he needs him in order to engineer his take-over of the presidency and bring in more lucre. Also, Aiyaz needs to help Frank rewrite Fiji's constitution so that Frank can become president-for-life. Aiyaz will probably replace Gates as chief justice, to continue to try to put a phony stamp of legitimacy on everything. Of course, if all fails, Frank will sacrifice Aiyaz as his scapegoat, in which case he'll either buy Aiyaz off with a government sinecure or have him snuffed out. The latter option is safer for Frank, and isn't making the world safe for Frank what the last 11 years have been about? If Aiyaz wasn't so arrogant, he'd see the writing and get out while he still can.

  30. Dog eat Dog!!!but in this case Dog eats ,its own vomit. Frankstein knows there will be blood shed and Fijian Indians will take the full brunt of the Indigenous Fijians ( I hope this never happens). Please citizens of Fiji ,don't judge Airarse by race or religion but by his character alone. Frankstein wants to distance himself from Airarse , hopes he does because his house of cards will come crumbling down.

  31. Where do you find a Lauan you can trust when you need one? The Bainimarama regime has always been built on informers, suspicion and paranoia. Good people have lost their jobs as result of rumours. Even people loyal to Bainimarama have been axed on the basis of whispers.

Now Bainimarama is feeling very nervous indeed. He knows some Lauans despise him for the way he treated Roko Ului, he just can't be sure who he can rely on. Can he get rid of all Lauans? What about the vasu I Lau? He's smart enough to know that creating a large number of disgruntled ex soldiers would be very dangerous.

It could be that Teleni is more reliable than Leweni, but then maybe it's the other way around. The problem that Bainimarama now faces is the climate of fear he's created. Because people are unable to say what they think, he now has no idea what people are thinking. His enemies are all now hidden.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap. Harvest time approaches.

  33. Would that mean young Chief Ratu Ului will have a red carpet welcome on his return for Christmas 2011??

Leaks reveal alleged Australian political agenda in Solomon Islands
    Publish date/time: 20/10/2011 [17:10]

    Share6
Top secret information has emerged in Honiara outlining the Australian government and RAMSI’s negligence; thus breaching the country’s constitution which led to the 2006 April riots.

Documents obtained by The Solomon Star also revealed that the Australian government had in the past appointed several key figures in the Solomon Islands government sector, to facilitate their political agenda in the country.

Two key figures that emerged from the report were former Police Commissioner Shane Castles and former Australian High Commissioner Patrick Cole.

Documents revealed that the then Police Commissioner Shane Castles received directions from the Australian government not to dispatch a riot squad to calm the situation during the 2006 April riots.

According to the Solomon Star, it was disclosed that this was the Australian government’s way of signaling its opposition to China’s growing influence in the Pacific; and in this instance to allow looting and burning to take place to get rid of the Chinese populace in Honiara.

The documents revealed that Castles appointment as Police Commissioner was also dictated by the Australian government so that he could work in partnership with then Australia High Commissioner Patrick Cole.

It is also alleged the Australian government threatened not to fund the former Police Commissioner if he was reappointed but they would only fund Castles if appointed.

It is alleged the Australian government in April 2005 then proposed to the Solomon Islands Government that Castles be appointed under section 40 of the Australian Federal Police Act 1979 for two years.

Therefore, by virtue of section 40 of the Australian Federal Police Act, Castles being an ‘AFP appointee’ must not disobey or fail to carry out directions, instructions or orders given to him by the Australian police commissioner, RAMSI or the Australian government.

The Australian government and RAMSI were also later claimed to have bribed certain people to fabricate false statements against three former Members of Parliament as instigators of the riots.

They are currently applying for a constitutional case against the Australian government and RAMSI, and a separate court battle with the National Government for malicious prosecution.

The illegal Government coffers are running low and on borrowed time...very soon their salaries and wages will be returned to pre-2007 days.

But at elast they have been kept happy these pasy 5 years and JVB prays that they will remain loyal despite the coming deductions
