Insiders: Rewa chief arrested and beaten

Rewa Chief Ro Teimumu Kepa
The chief of Rewa chief, Ro Teimumu Kepa, has reportedly been taken into the QEB army camp this morning.

She was arrested at her home.

Initial reports indicate she has been beaten.

The information about the Gone Marama Bale has come from intel sources.

This morning's arrest follows an address from Ro Teimumu Kepa about the province's continued anti-stance against the regime's Peoples Charter.

The address came as the military spokesperson Neumi Leweni announced the unelected government has suspended all funding to Rewa because of its position at the council meeting this week.

Roko Tui Dreketi's address was widely hailed and was re-presented at the annual conference yesterday of the Australian democracy chapters in Melbourne.

We are seeking confirmation and more news as we get it.

Yes, it takes a woman to stand up for the rights of Fiji's peoples. As a hereditary chief of Fiji with ancient origins, unfortunately this is the cross she has to bear. This demonstrates she is willing to risk her life for the values held dear by the population of Fiji. Not since Doctor Timoci Bavadra have we seen a phenomenon such as this. God bless the Roko Tui Dreketi. Down with the evil military regime!!

All men from rewa should wear bangles and a dress!

Grow some balls !

We owe it to Fiji as well as Ro Teimumu to raise our voices any which way we can...blog it, talk it, phone it, sing it....whatever...lets expose the dictatorship for what it truly is.
If places like Libya have managed to bring down their evil dictator Gadaffi then we surely can take ours to the dump!!!!

Cheapest and safest sex-change surgery for those Fijian men currently giving it serious thought is available in Bankok, Thailand. Only problem, you might act like a "lady boy" forever afterwards. Hey, but you got no balls anyway, so might as well cut them off! Enquiries with Thai Airlines.

Many were invited, few are chosen !
Ro Kepa, is one of the chosen.

President Kennedy was speaking to the young people of America, but beyond them to young people everywhere, when he said: -

"the energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it; and the glow from that fire can truly light the world." And, he added, "With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own."4

“It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal or acts to improve the lot of others or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centres of energy and daring those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”

All people of Fiji should have guts and courage to stand up against the Mataivalu ni Solisona.

Egypt, Libya and now Syria all their guns will not be able to defeat the will of the people.

International community is willing to help but the people of Fiji must make the first move.

Destroy destroy the Fiji Military so Fiji can retain democracy and freedom from these crooks.

With a tear, Fiji is at its defining moment in history.

The illegal arrest, by an illegal entity, by Indigenous Fijians of an Indigenous Fijian of Chiefly Title who has spoken the Truth and acted in a Chiefly manner, if nothing else, must make one question ones allegiance.

Further blood spilt by this oppressive, depressive, Demonic Regime, for the next 4 generations, will fall onto the heads of all involved !

This is Biblical.

Fijians now, must ask themselves, how do we, as
" Individuals ", as a " Group ", as a " Clan ", as a
" Village " , extricate ourselves from this downward spiral of immorality, dishonesty, theft and Evil !!!

One could surmise that recent Public attacks on the Police Commissioner's Wife on this blogsite and Her alleged role within the Fiji Police Force, may have precipitated the arrest of Ro Kepa.

Given now, that a line in the sand has been drawn, thanks to Ro Kepa's brave stance against the Regime and its supporters, does her arrest suggest that the Regime and Police Commissioner are hardening their stance against both any opposition and to Fiji's Traditional Society and its Communities, because of their own fear of a very long long Prison term ?

No one it seems, is safe in Fiji now.

Neumi Leweni and Frank Bainimarama has no say what so ever about how the Govt should assist any province in Fiji. His statement clearly shows their fear of what is closing up on them. That is long prison term in Naboro or even death like Gadaffi.
Who are you Neumi to tell the people of Rewa that they wont get any financial grant from the government for the Provice development. You can hold on to the tax payers money cos election is coming up and you and you stupid commander o masia tiko na nona polo will go to jail..as I've said..e na kalougata ke sa yavala o Viti mo drau na bula.
The high chief of Rewa and the Burebasaga Confederacy has said the truth about their alliegance. They won't support you illegal govt and that is her right and responsibility for her people.
Did your mother shove a piece of dalo vavi in your mouth when you were a small baby??? Ask Frank the same question. That is what you have done to all the provinces in Fiji...you force them with your threats about stopping development and other financial aid.
If your mother and Franks mum did that to you guys, sorry...the Marama Roko tui Dreketi wont do the same to her people. And you cant do the same to the province of Rewa.
Drau yavu kaisi drau yavu kawa ca. Your day will come when you will beg for mercy.
Die you DOG!!!!

The Fiji Military are the biggest bunch of Mataivalu ni Solisona and cowards in Fiji.

Look at all the corruption and crimes against the people of Fiji since 5th december 2006 and some imbersile at 3.18am thinks that the Fiji Military are not cowards.

They cannot stand up for waht is just and right but just bend over and take orders from Khaiyum.

Boci ga na Boci lei vutusona vatakei Voreqe.

With respect to the Gone Marama Bale's situation, I'm reminded of Romeo and Juliet, Act II, scene 3, in which Shakespeare wrote: "Women may fall where there is no strength in men."

That leads me to wonder now, if the Bard written about Fiji, would it have been a tragedy or a comedy?

I heard that she was resting perfectly at her chiefly residence ... No one went after her ...

Ok Guys...which of the facts is true: Some says Voreqe is from Kiuva;others says he's from Lomaiviti? Rumors has it that he was the luvenisala of an indo store
owner from Naselai? Can someone please confirm this travesity?

Please people don't make false reports as it can really screw things up. The Roko Tui Burebasaga
is at home & free. But because of
the false report, by some macafaka,
one of our member is now in military custody, at Delainabua. But
no problem,we've anticipated all
the angles; and we'll get our people out in due course.
