Bole loses two portfolio to regime newcomers

Jone Usumate
Viliame Naupoto
Changes are tipped for Fiji's unelected government, in what is clearly another sign of how entrenched the regime is becoming.
Coupfourpointfive has been told two new ministerial appointments are about to be made.
Filipe Bole
Jone Usumate is to become Frank Bainimarama's Labour Minister and Viliame Naupoto the new Youth and Sports Minister.
Both of the portofilios were held by Filipe Bole with the new appointments likely to be announced this week.
Usumate was previously the boss of Training and Productivity Authority of Fiji (TPAF) and Naupoto is a former navy commander and former immigration director.

And the circus continues in Fiji. The pig Bocimarama and his piglet Aiyarsehole must be held accountable for the corruption that is rife at this very moment. Appointing close friends to high posts will come back and bite them in their black asses later on. Wait and see how they will run and hide in the nearest culvert when people power take over.

The army of school dropouts better learn and desert as they too will feel the wrath of Fijians. This has gone too far and pig, be warned.

the truth that will happen in fiji after election 2014...nothing s going to change as far as Bainimarama is in charge...meaning more dinau & under the tables deals..read below Classroom Socialism:

When the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
Is this man truly a genius? Checked out and this is true...it DID happen!

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that SOCIALISM would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that.

Remember, there IS a test coming up. The 2014 elections.

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and all applicable to this experiment:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Newly appointed Youth and Sports Minister, Commander Viliame Naupoto said he is ready for the ministerial responsibility to prepare the youth of Fiji for the 2014 general elections.

Commander Naupoto who is the former Navy Commander, former Immigration Director and Permanent Secretary for Fisheries and Forests, said he is ready to bring positive changes to the ministry.

There is an audio file attached to this story. Please login to listen.

Former Training and Productivity Authority of Fiji CEO, Jone Usumate is the new Minister for Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment.

Education Minister, Filipe Bole was earlier holding the Youth, Sports, Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment portfolios.

The government said the creation of a separate ministry for Youth and Sports with its own cabinet minister is necessary in light of Fiji’s growing youth population.

The ministry will also assist the government in preparing our young people who will be eligible to vote in the 2014 general election and by ensuring that they understand their rights to vote and the importance of their votes in electing a new government.

The government said it also recognizes the contribution of sports to the overall development of the country.

The government said the creation of a new and separate cabinet minister for the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment is indicative of government commitment to labour related issues in the country.

The two new ministers started their duties today after they were sworn-in by the President earlier today.

May I declare for Fiji to know that I am happy that the Government has decided to put back in place the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

It should never have been scaled down and later removed in the first place by Qarase's Government...YES for all youths of Fiji to know, Qarase's Government.

The action was long overdue.Hence the reasons for slow economic recovery for Fiji in the last 6 years. Now it's also time to appoint new ministers to take over the Economy;Tourism;Business;local Government;etc, etc,.I won't be surprise to see more changes coming
especially when we're coming close to 2013? Critical analysis by bloggers-without the parliamentry opposition-is absolutely essential!

John or John........you're at your pek being CEO of a training Institute and which you have rise to the level deservingly.

Why have you compromised your principles now.....come on John, you can do better than that. Think of the good work you have done at TPAF. What will you say to students and staff now if you go to bed with the enemy...in short you support the illegal take over and the lawlessness of our beloved Fiji.

If yes for a ministerial post....you have compromised your family and your professional.

God bless Viti

The pusch for 2014 has begun... the move to control the minds of Fiji's youth. Those in Form Four today will be voting come 2014 and these are the minds Naupoto has been hired to shape. The future leadership of this country will be placed in the hands of young minds who have yet to mature from their teenage years .. they don't even know what democracy is as most have grown up in the coup era since 2000. May God forgive us our sins ... we've raped and pillaged from the elderly and now we're turning on our young ones to get them to follow us to their own slaughter. May Bainimarama and Aiyaz never have peace in their hour of death and may their offsprings suffer the curse of their wrongs for eternity.

Mark Manning Filipe was one of the most capable Ministers in an Government he served in-but you woundn't know that. At the end of the day we still need people to serve Fiji, Filipe Bole has done it with intergrity & compassion.Do you suggest we have no one working for the Govt including civil servants! If that was a sensible outcome-the Chinese should be told not to support the Communist Government which aparently your Govt in Australia loves to sell all the mineral wealth you "whites' stole form the Aborigenes. Triple standards! You come preach to us but willing to do the very opposite-soorry we ain't that stipid!

Bole has been around too long. How old would he be now, say 80 something. Time to take a rest for the old body and mind. Is he still trying to pay off his debt incurred in his last two failed election attempts. His speech is becoming very incomprehensible nowadays. Shows he is pushing the old wagon more than it
can cope. While we need new blood in the government we also need LEGITIMATE ones.

Anon@8.38am. Are you implying that Naupoto, nobody in English, is covering Bai's daughter? Reading between the lines, I think what you're saying is, Naupoto aka Nobody is covering Bai's daughter literally.

Bole is an old work horse and the PM knows it; and is going to get as much mileage, as he can from him.Filipe is always at the top of his game and in Fijian education, he's always doing his best to help Fijians succed in whatever they do?I'm sure the move to transfer the 2
ministry to others-Fijians-may be a sign that the works is affecting
his health, or he's getting too old for this shit?

Am thoroughly disappointed with Jone. As he is a hardworking and successful guy. Down to earth and pleasant. Now he has to spoil it all by joining this illegal regime.

I hope that he thought about the consequences very carefully. OR maybe he had no choice. Ganesh Chand wants him out of the way so he can control TPAF by placing a stooge there. The only arm of FNU that achieved ISO rating. Everyone knows that Bole is a stooge of Ganesh who may have guided his boy to make this recommendation due to his heavy load.

Naupoto, of course, is appointed because of the kickbacks from the sporting complexes about to be built by China. That appointment must be from the top two themselves.

Only time will tell but there is one more prediction that has to come thru before that happens so far 3 out of the 4 have come to pass!

Wade Evans to replace Usumate at TPAF!

First Bainimarama will broaden the cabinet with his own picks. Then he will make Teleni Deputy PM and move one or two portfolios away from Aiyaz. After that, he will be in a position in cabinet to make himself President with or without Aiyaz's support. Of course, he will have Aiyaz's support because Aiyaz will be on his way to the Chief Justice job, unless the opposition becomes threatening enough, in which case Bainimarama will have made Aiyaz his scapegoat. After a year or so, Bainimarama will make himself President-for-Life.

Déjà vu. Bainimarama and Aiyaz think they're brilliantly improvising all of this, but actually it's only history repeating itself as farce -- the Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Napoleon, all over again.
