Frank Bainimarama this morning led more than 650 military personnel, naval officers and prison officers in a 15 kilometres route march around Nabua, taking in Suva Point and the golf course in Vautwaqa before returning to the Queen Elizabeth barracks.
According to Fiji Live, the military Chief of Staff Operations Lieutenant-Colonel Amani Suliano said the march happened four times a year "and also whenever the military Commander Commodore Bainimarama calls for it."

There wasn't much mingling done either according to the pictures with top brass sticking together and rank and file falling into line.

correctly mentioned 4.5 - it was simply an intimidation rally, just to show the people of Fiji that he (VB) is in control - VERY SAD INDEED; VB leading the innocent insanity sons and daughters of the Fiji Military Force....they never did this in the past during the legitimate period of various governments....My prayers that the soldiers will see the real VB leadership qualities SOON!....

In the military this is called 'phyops'(psychological operations) to instill either 'fear or a show of military presence or might" to keep the public in 'line'.Why is the Commander RFMF being 'half dressed',if this is a routine route 'mad march', instructions are given in regards to dress, equipment etc if the Commander himself cannot follow instructions how can the'subordinates follow .'Lead by Example',what a shame.

Officers, and especially being the Commander are ALWAYS expected to lead by example, to lead from the front. They are expected to lead in the way they talk, the way they eat, the way they conduct themselves and especially the way they dress 24/7!
He is obviously being very, very disrespectful to the men and women he is supposed to be leading!!

In life it is often said that "You dress for the occasion" Whether you are going to the nightclub, a funeral, to church, to a formal occasion or whatever, you ALWAYS ensure that you dress accordingly.
Yet being in a supposedly disciplined force [hello] demands and expects you to dress accordingly. In a formal parade the number one dress is the norm, on exercise in the jungle jungle dress is the order of the day, for a route march, again battle order is the order of the day. From top down, all are expected to conform.
It is obvious that discipline in the army has broken down for the very simple reason that this nitwit is breaking all the protocols and norms. Maybe, as an afterthought he was thinking that he was going for a picnic to Nukulau, who is beckoning!!!!

I must caution you all that there are some very gruesome pics of the poor CRW soldiers [ May they rest in peace] that were murdered on his instruction and orders.
Took 4 hours and 45 minute approx for these "infantry soldiers" to "march" 15 kms.
A standard regular infantry pace might have induced heart attacks.
The rear caravan included ambulance and Millitary trucks just in case some collapsed.

Some of the soldiers claim he began the march and shortly after photos were taen he disappeared in a car and re-appeared at the end for another photo shoot - already drunk and had lost his army uniform

There is a common military term for how Bainimarama is dressed and that is "SLACK". How worse can a true and stupid dictator show off his selfishness and true dokadoka character.
