Scandalous free junkets for Qorvis

Grubby,
I am not happy with you and your boso at Qorvice. It seems to me that you are all just having one big holiday enjoying yourself at my expense. Just look at these pictures which show you all just partying and getting drunk.

And as for you spending Valentine’s Day with that jumped up little cocktail waitress, Brandy Alexander. That is beyond the pale. You are my little Gwubby and I do not want to see you ogling girlies in short skirts.

It seems to me that Qorvice are sending out their most junior interns to Fiji for a free holiday instead of having to pay them. Look at Benny Someone’s Baby. He can’t be more than 17 and the only time he has ever used a razor is to cut the coke in college.

It is not a surprise that our communications policy is in disarray as you overpaid PR hacks are just drinking our fees away.

I rang up your boso miKY PetroleumJelly the Managing Patner of Qorvice, to complain and ask him to come and see me. And do you know what he said. He could fit me in for 15 minutes at Nadi Airport whilst he waits to fly to Turtle Island for a “business trip” with his secretary who looks even younger than Someone’sBaby.

Now don't piss me off. You really do not want to piss me off. I can cut off your cheques just as easily as I can cut off your pathetic little Gwubby.

Look at the Shambles of our communications policy.

1) The Glorious Leader has got a reputation as a jetsetting, freeloading, being a good time playboy. We need the people to really know that he is one of them and is at home digging Dalo as he is negotiating with World Leaders as the Chairman of GOD (Group of 77 Dictators). If he is to win the election the people must believe he is tirelessly working on their behalf. I know it is BullSh!t but if he goes we all go and I still have a couple of mill to collect on various scams.

2) We just convicted the Fiji Times of Contempt of Court. The world press is treating it as a joke repeating the allegations that we do not have a free judiciary at will. I don’t know about the courts being scandalized, but I certainly am. This needs to stop now. At least we can rely on Judge Willy CalltheChinese unlike Qorvice, our media advisors. Where is that article you promised me written by that Harvard Law Professor you have in your pocket and to whom we gave a free holiday.

3) The Political Parties decree is being seen as restrictive when you and I know it is liberating democracy from the stranglehold the old parties and allowing for the development of the Bananas One Party State. You are not getting the right message out strongly enough.

4) There is talk in the International community that any Western government that is positive towards us is an appeaser. It makes us look and sound like HRH Madam Nazihats’s heroes.

So Grubby I want to hear from you by return about how we are going to turn around this F@rking sh!t storm you and Qorvice have created.

I tell you there are no more free holidays. No more interns coming to learn the trade at my expense. I want experience and I do not mean a fat old lecher like you.

By the way I think your little piece Testing Times has gone some way to sorting the situation out. I showed it to Aiyarse this morning and we both agree that we need to amend the media Decree. Media Owners will need to live in Fiji as well as be citizens. That way we can force Mac Kiss&tel to either sell the Fiji Times at a loss or come back to Fiji to face another trumped up court case.

No Hugs and Kisses to you Gwubby. You need to come crawling to me on your knees begging for forgiveness otherwise I will have your Fiji Citizenship revoked quicker than you can down a Brandy Alexander.

Shazzer

This is to inform the public that this letter is a piece of fiction. However, some of the people and events mentioned are real.
Qorvice Charge the Bananas Republic Government over $1m per year. Looking at the pictures their expenses are probably even higher.

Loser Betsandgoes really does list Lance Armstrong as a client. One of his specialties ‘is raising awareness through social marketing in order to foment behavior change’ I bet he finds guns and decrees more helpful to changing behavior.

CROSBIE EXPOSES NFP COLLUSION WITH REGIME said...

This comment is from Crosbie Walsh latest story published on his blog.http://crosbiew.blogspot.co.nz/#!/2013/02/news-and-comments-friday-23-february.html

He exposes the fact that NFP is aligning itself with Khaiyum regime to fight election in 2014. Read it and judge yourself.

PARTY REGISTRATIONS. Government's amendment to the Political Parties Decree within days of promulgation, and its further clarifications about the SDL acronym and its warning to the press not to refer to un-registered political parties as political parties, leaves some people thinking the goalposts are constantly moving, which does not help confidence.
Comment. Knee-jerk reactions to events rarely reflect sound tactics. Government needs to re-examine the political scene to see who it can work with in the old and yet to be registered political parties. The NFP perhaps, the Fiji Workers Party, or the less extreme and less abrasive people in the old SDL and FLP? It cannot go it alone

Already know this. if ASK's father is a senior figure in the NFP.. it does not take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. What we need to ask is "Did the Union Reps know about this and when opting out of the NFP; were they given a golden hand shake by the Regime. Thats the big question????

Consider this for conspiracy theory;

Attar Singh and Pramod Rae given a golden parachute?

Charan Jeath Singh who employed Khaiyum senior has wound up his party? why ? joining NFP again?

Bainimarama appointed NFP President and only nominee for Fiji President

ASK to be NFP Party leader?

Charan Jeath to be Minister for Finance (from outside the cabinet as per RFMF submission)

FLP and SDL will be wound up.

Riaz Khaiyum to be Minister for Information.

ASK for Prime Minister ( to fullfill the missed opportunity of 1977 when Sadiq Koya was denied the Prime Ministership.

Its all about rigting the wrong of 1977.

This man promised to donate his salary before the elections, once elected he changed his mind and pocketed the money, making feeble excuses to justify his dishonesty.

Do we want more liars and tricksters in our parliament?

CHANDU UMARIA OF NFP THANKS BAINIMARAMA FOR THE SCC JOB said...

Chandu Umaria has been appointed the special administrator for Suva and Lami as tipped by Coupfourpointfive yesterday.

Umaria (above) takes over from Maria Hallacy and has told Fijilive that having been in the council for 16 years and having served as Suva mayor from 2000 to 2003, he's comfortable in the role.

“I am pretty well versed with the operations of the municipality in Suva and I will be having meetings with the directors and all the executives of the Suva City Council and Lami Town council to discuss issues."

He also said he would make improvements immediately: “A lot of people have been complaining that the SCC and a lot of other municipalities are operating like civil servants and service is not delivered properly but I assure that in a short time, you will see changes.”

Umaria thanked Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama, the inter-military council and the Attorney General’s office for having faith in him.-Source for quotes, Fijilive

PRAVIN BALA SUCKING UP TO BAINIMRAMA BIG TIME said...

Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama toured the Western Division yesterday, assessing the damage suffered in the wake of Tropical Cyclone Evan.
While touring the Lautoka Hospital, which sustained damage, Commodore Bainimarama directed the chief executive officer of Lautoka City Praveen Bala and Permanent Secretary Works Commander (Navy) Francis Kean to look at avenues to refurbish the hospital.
He said this was the opportune time to not only clean up the hospital but to give it a new look.
“We had a look at the damage sustained during strong winds last night and this morning. We are getting people on it to fix it. This is also an opportune time to fix up the hospital in total,” he said.
Commodore Bainimarama also asked Mr Bala to look to the private sector for refurbishing the hospital.
During the tour, Commodore Bainimarama also met patients admitted at the hospital and assured them that Government was already working to ensure that all facilities are back to normal.
One patient, Vinod Kumar of Field 4, Lovu in Lautoka had been admitted after he was injured while trying to secure his house on Monday.

Fiji unions defy rules to set up political party

.

Fiji's trade unions intend to defy new government regulations and set up a political party.

Fiji Council of Trade Unions (FCTU) general secretary Felix Anthony has told Radio Australia's Pacific Beat the interim government appears to not want any opposition at the elections scheduled for 2014.

"Clearly what we see now is the regime is hell-bent on ensuring it remains in power at any cost," he said.

Trade union officials in Fiji have been banned from political parties, in a move the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) says is "an affront to democratic principles".

Mr Anthony says the FCTU is still planning to set up a political party in defiance of the coup installed military government's rules.

He says he expects one or two party members will be arrested but that this will mean "a new start to the struggle".

"Make no mistake, by putting a few people in jail it will not mean the end of the fight," he said.

Two people have appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court for allegedly impersonating Government elections officials in the Western Division.

It is alleged that they were collecting signatures for a proposed party.

The two have been remanded in custody until next Wednesday by Magistrate Mosese Naivalu.

Police confirm that two are charged with four counts and two counts of impersonation.

An investigation was conducted by the Police following claims by some residents of Ba that some people were allegedly gathering signatures for a proposed party to make the deadline for the re-registration of parties.

It is alleged that the people were told that they were elections officials checking Voter ID cards and then got them to sign a form. The people allege that they did not know that they were signing up as members of a proposed party.

It's 8.15 am Australian time which makes it 9.15 am Fiji time. I went to Fijisun.com.fj/Fiji's Number 1 News Site to read the letters to editor. It's saturday 23 /2 but the Fiji Sun still has letters it published on 18/2. How backward is that!
But the good thing is the lead letter is 'Greg Sheridan wrong' by Victor Lal of Oxford, England.
And Sheridan had written an opinion piece lauding Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr's policy of appeasement with the Fiji military regime.
I thought Fiji Sun being a regime mouthpiece paper would have removed Victor's letter the very next day. Ideally it would have loved not to publish it at all. But that would have exposed their claim to be an independent locally owned paper a farce. So the next best thing is to publish an edited version of Victor's letter. But why keep the spot light on it 6 days later!
It's a strange way of propagandizing FOR the regime!

we read in the news from south africa that a man (Oscar Pistorius) charged for the "premeditated killing" of his wife has been granted bail.
I suppose it is to be expected that justice is delivered differently in a democracy and in a dictatorship.
In a democracy justice is delivered in accordance with the precepts and principles of justice. In a dictatorship justice is delivered according to the diktats of the dictator. The courts do the dictators bidding.

Regime seems to lie about everything, even the weather and natural disasters.

While bigger and more prosperous contries like NZ and Australia openly report and accept that fires and floods can wreck infrastructure and economy and kill people, Fiji's coup leader can't make such an admission.

Because they have told so many lies and promoted Fiji to be perfect under military rule, he has to continue with the sham that he and his unelected govt are on top of everything - even natural disasters.

This from FBC:

He says there was fear that the economy was hit hard, especially the tourism industry but visitor arrival records state otherwise.

“Total arrivals up to November were up 4.9 per cent over the previous year. Some 606-thousand in 2012 – compared to 578-thousand in 2011 – an increase of 28-thousand. And that’s not even counting December’s figures.”

That new decree is really just plain silly for a govt that is so serious on introducing it's so-called political reforms. VB is just diggging a bigger hole for himself everyday.

Note to Govt: your actions may not catch up with after 2014, but they will definitely catch up with you when you are old and weak and all who are close to you have abandoned you. Good example is Pinochet of Chile who was haunted to his dying breath. An even better example could be that pretender Cromwell in 15th century England. He died peacefully alright only for his bones to be dug up years later and his remains hung. Richard Cromwell wud be the best example here. His intentions and actions parallel VB's but ultimately he and his team met macabre endings...is this going to be repeated here? time will tell.

Verifying IDs "is a right" (Fiji Sun 24/2).
I agree fully with the report in the regime mouthpiece newspaper the Fiji Sun that " Members of the public have the right to verify the identity of any individual claiming to be a public official by demanding to see their identification card".
They should start with Frank Bainimarama and all the individuals claiming to be Ministers in the Government of Fiji.
They should then verify whether the ID Cards these people produce is genuine or counterfeit baring in mind the decision of the last properly constituted court of law in fiji under the 1997 Constitution of Fiji.
Did these people have the lawful authority to trash that constitution?
Don't ask them and don't ask Graham Davis.

Nothing in this posting fazes me except the inclusion of individuals who have nothing to do with the Government or Qorvis and are surely entitled to have their privacy protected and respected.

The others in the second photo are also blameless private citizens who were complete strangers to me before this encounter.

Go for me by all means but it strikes me that even most of the faceless, racist, gutless morons who inhabit this site might question the fairness of such people being dragged through the mud by association.

The notion of a kai valagi conclave - peddled by one of you phantoms - is especially offensive. I didn't realise Fijian people could be so horrid. What a crying shame. Very sad, what has become of Fiji.

i agree with you that we must never think we are inferior to the kaivalagis...but I disagree that we are better than them in terms of speaking and writing...in fact that is a weakest argument one can put...
English is not our mother tongue...we will always have to update ourselves depending which Englush dialects you are following...
Paul Gheratty may know the fijian dialect...the truth is he will never be betterr than the fijian...he is trained to collect infos and update himself about the changes which only the fijians themselves could make...
If we are better thab them at writing..why aren' t many fijians writing novels...and literature?

Dan, agreed - why would anyone think they are inferior to anyone - "the saying goes - only you can make yourself feel inferior" - the ability to speak English correctly does not make one inferior to another human being... but the ability to make someone feel bad about themselves instantly makes someone inferior as that is just self projection at it's worst - especially anonymously - which reading the posts above clearly outline, there are many people posting here who feel they should be in government and are angry they are not. Get out there and prove yourself man - posting here is not the way to do it. No one reads this stuff, unless you are really bored... like me hah hah hah - great night all

You should not take what you see and read here too seriously it's certainly not a reflection of what it's really like in Fiji.

If you were a regular reader of the blog it does not take too much time to work out roughly how many idiots there are here.

If you look at the average number of comments per posting, discount the sensible ones (this does include both anti and pro views), discount the Rajend Naidu (I want to see my name in print 'again') cut and paste ones, discount the cut and paste repeated 'hit list' ones I suspect you are then left with not too many other contributors.

If you consider that a high percentage of these are likely the same person there's more than likely not that many idiots.

People are angry and frustrated...this blog gives them that chance to share...yes some do go overboard...but hey that is democracy...they want to voice their opinions...

@ Anonymous 9.22PM
now be a good boy and tell us about the idiots you rubbing shoulders with in the regime! that's why things are not looking all that bad for you in fiji. you are a regime lackey. own up!
infact just tell us about yourself and we will figure out the rest.
rajend naidu wants to see his name in print. what about you? are you ashamed to see your name in print ?

Anonymous @ 9.22PM - wake up and smell the coffee > hello... what is your real name? DAN.. you would be one of the sensible people here - why are people frustrated and angry?? Aren't they pleased Fiji is going to elections next year. This is everyone's chance to rise up and support what they stand for and be positive. Reading some of the posts above, I have to despair, simply because everyone who is anti this Government has no rationale whatsoever, and the instigators of this blog themselves are wanting to govern Fiji??? God help us all if that is the case - we need men with balls and guts, not people that hide behind others, that is simply tragic!

Wow! @ 7.02p.m :) That's the spirit, sock it to him!! That gdavis & paid thugs are floundering since they don't have a leg to stand on, but instead have to rely "totally" on the guns they happily lie on. What a life to live for this tragic lot.

at least two of the white falas in that neo-colonial club photo could use a few rounds around the rara at the army camp at delainabua to improve their shape. they might also get a close up feel of how the victims of military brutality felt when they were rounded up after Bainimarama's "revolution" and taken to the camp for their "re-education".

An example of regime liar:
Last week Raturala former radio fiji announcer (now promoted to Lt) was asked by villagers in Rewa on why the Ghai Report was discarded. He explained that it did not uphold the Bill of Rights and squatters would be rendered homeless as a result. This is the most stupid and downright lie every uttered by any moron. Note that he and other regime agents are already campaigning in the provinces at tax payers expense and using govt vehicles and paid by we the taxpayers.

Qarase was very close to Vinod Patel (NFP stalwarts). Yet, they invited Frank as chief guest at their brand re launch. These shows that these gujis and business people are only driven by self interest.
This also backs the theory that NFP will be backed by Kaiyum and that Chaudry will go to jail, & Labour and SDL will not be registered.

KILL BAINIMARAMA!! KILL AIYARSE!!

If the NFP fields Bainimarama or Khaiyum for office, it will be the end of the NFP. And I mean the very end. Why would any Fijian ever trust the NFP again?

Totally agree on the last Brandy Alexander front. She's hasn't had successful businesses, which is what she attests to in her "charity" website. She is a parasite who preys of men with large wallets and small egos. She only made it back to Fiji on borrowed money. Brandy Alexander you are no charity queen, you are a shameless self absorbed wanna-be, with not a business bone in your body, except the ability to sell yourself. Your rapidly fading looks are now hindering that. Since when has an over 45, mini skirt wearing blonde indian ever looked good.
