Regime consultations a sham - take a look

Submissions for the regime's draft constitution are due to close at the end of this month but have they really been as open as they say?

Dickhead wants to call himself Prime Minister but dismissive of people's concern.

It just shows that we are dealing with a dumb sailor boy.

Ulukau ga na ulukau.

For those that still trust Bainisona, he has just revealed his true colors; a dicktator who has no regard for the people but only for HIMSELF.

Ni veicai na sotia lamulamu ni totaki koya tiko.

Bainimarama why you refusing to answer questions relating to state finances and budgets from 2006?

How long you will avoid this questions? When the coup took place our national debt was $2.2b, at the end of 2012, it was $5b and by the time elections are held it would be $6b. Can you explain why and where these monies have gone?

Answer this you fucken conman.
BAINI-KHAIYUM WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSE TO THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS?.

1. Why the release of the Auditor General’s Report from 2007 – 2012 is being blocked?
2. When will the people of Fiji get a copy of the Special Report of $200,000 leave compensation paid to Frank Bainimarama?
3. When will the regime publicize the details of Ministerial salaries to the tune of $1,000,000 annually each for Frank and Aiaz administered by Nur Bano?
4. When will the regime release details of the tender process (if any) for all Capital works awarded to Constructions companies of Malaysia and China from 2007- 2012?
5. When will the regime release of the accounts for the $5m annual Taiwan Government Grant held in the Prime Minister’s Office?
6. When will the Commander RFMF release of all accounts of Regimental Funds of the RFMF?
7. When will the regime release of information on payments made to Nur Bano since 2007 including the $2m paid for Rewa Dairy Restructure?
8. Will the regime release of information on all payments made to Nazhat Shameem based on $23,000 per month from 2009?
9 Release the Ernst and Young Forensic Report on FNPF. The KPMG report on FSC and other reports conducted by professionals on various entities in which the State has interest of investments?
10. How can Public Service Commission accept as Permanent Secretary a person convicted of murder and has served two years prison sentence?

3.Tender awarded amount and company name.
4.Fiji debt level.
WE will never get this Ans.
People have 10 days to bring this regime down with strike/protest.

It is clear that coup 4.5 has a wealth of media knowledge. Strongly suggest that you start your own news outlet - paper, TV. You will need finance. At the time ask "News Funding" on 4.5. We will forthcoming with finance.

This is extremely offensive and will be punished with some serious angle beating. It is exactly this totally biased reporting that the media love to feed the people. You should all go and read Croz and Graham's blogs. There you can read the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Charity begins at home.( Even elementary school kids know that). And the home record of the political leadership in both PNG and Fiji is pretty third-rate to say the least. At best it isn't something to sing about. But that does not stop the "independent" journalist Graham Davis from doing that in his now recognizable fartty voice. ( his latest song releases by Pacific.Scoop production: 'Economic union'Fiji trip to PNG hailed as strategic success).

I don't know if people are too dumb or are just ignorant. Quiet contrary to what people may have been led to believe, this is not a consultation consultation.

AG is going around Fiji selling his draft. He is explaining or better yet, justifying the draft. This draft was prepared at Denerau during the Christmas of 2010 by Nazrat, Gates and Khaiyum. There are minor changes done to it or updated recently. This constitution gives all the power and authority to PM and AG. Leader of Opposition is just a no one with any say. The AG does not necessarily have to be someone that is elected.

Having seen this, I know that Khaiyum will not contest and Frank will just appoint him as AG. It is fairly well known to everyone that Khaiyum is a liability for Frank. What other way could Khaiyum get in the cabinet. This Constitution is "tailor made" for present government. Other than that it is not worth the paper it is written on. We need to have a open discussion on Ghai Constitution. I know that there are some flaws with that. We could amend that. My humble request is to everyone to individually write a to the government of the day and show solidarity and ask the government open up a dialect in this regards. We can't have the deadbeat Politicians of yesteryear to have any impact. All that they are doing is to save their ass. We need all new Leadership. We need to take Fiji forward. We can't be trapped in the dogma with leaders of gone by days. We want New Fiji. Yes Fiji is on verge of bankruptcy, but it still has a salvage value. Let's a all change our attitude and think of New Fiji, our Viti, our Vanua. Let us make the difference!!! Let our voice be heard. I am a believer of Swami Vivekananda's saying "try and try again, you will succeed at last. Vinaka

Writing on local town councils and the illegal activities and "the potential for corruption" within it's jurisdiction Amenatave Malani (Fiji Sun 19/4) says this is "the result of the unholy alliance of council workers".
Amenatave knows fish rots from the head because he ends his letter saying we need to "begin with council management first" because it is its "laxity in enforcing" the relevant laws that is responsible for the prevailing state of affairs.
This of course is true not only at the local council level but at the national level as well - I mean the phenomenon of the fish rotting from the head.( interested people might want to read Bob Garrat's book by the same title The fish rots from the head (2003).

'Musharraf flees court' (Fiji Times 20 April)Fiji Muslims must feel very proud - at least a small minority with the right moral compass - upon hearing news of the arrest of Musharraf the former military ruler of Pakistan on charges of treason, the arbitrary removal of the country's judges and other related charges dating back to his 9 years of dictatorial rule.
The last Pakistani dictator's day of reckoning has come. Today's Pakistan has shown itself to be on the road to true democracy where the rule of law and an independent judiciary is paramount. Not the diktats of a dictator. Pro- democracy Muslims must feel proud of the new Pakistan. They have good reason to be.

The Ruthless COMPULSIVE LIAR Dictator Bainivuaka is starting to look like an Ugly Wild Pig because of all the Lies and Deceit he's been giving the fiji public...

The only reason he staged the 2006 Coup, is because Police Commisioner Andrew Hughes was closing in on his arrest for the illegal Brutal killing of the CRW Soldiers whom he supported and he was well behind the 2000 Coup.

The people of Fiji very well knows about it. And its the TRUTH. The truth hurts, end off... Thats why the minority Evil losers and Scum of the Earth Bainivuaka supporters are still supporting their EVIL CORRUPT DICTATOR on here......

Ruby Taylor-Newton's editorial comment in Sunday Fiji Times (21 April) titled 'Polite is good' is good for the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama to embrace.
We remember he was not very polite to Catholic priest Fr Kevin Barr. In fact he was downright rude. And Father Barr, of course, is not the only recipient of the Prime Minister's rudeness.
And for the moment here we will not mention his intimidation and threats to many others - Fiji citizens and foreigners in Fiji.

The illegal Fiji military regime "has done a lot to move Fiji forward" as Savenaca Vakaliwaliwa a fan of the "Government" claims in his letter 'Historic clock' in the regime mouthpiece newspaper the Fiji Sun (21/4). But the cocked up clock at Government Buildings tells a different story in a very symbolic way.
It stands as a silent witness to the omnishambles of the regime.
Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum should get the Ministry of Propaganda to tell the people the historic clock is working perfectly.(It used to in colonial Fiji!!) After that
everyone should gather at Albert Park and say yes the clock is working. Until a child tells them no the clock is not working just as a child had to remind the adults that the emperor had no clothes!

editor,
Mick Beddoes reply to the personal attacks being made on him by the illegal Fiji regime's illegal Attorney General reminds me of what I had said after the 1987 first military coup and the death of the ousted democratically elected Prime Minister Dr Timoci Bavadra.
... Dr Bavara's memory will be kept alive and bright by conscientious citizens who cherish the human values and the principles that Dr Bavadra stood for - in so steadfast a manner. Someone once said : You have but one life - live it with dignity.Dr Bavadra lived his life with dignity - with sublime dignity - despite the indignities that were heaped on him by his adversaries who failed to understand his transcendental message. But his has been the lot of all the great teachers of truth, love, righteousness, peace and justice. And, like them, Dr Bavadra never allowed the persecutions to pervert his noble faith. Indeed he appears to have been strengthen by them, for he was able to give a charitable interpretation to even the most cruel of criticism made against him - by the intellectually and spiritually less endowed...(Nov 4,1989)
- source: Bavadra Prime Minister, Statesman, Man of the People (1990, p.366) edited by 'Atu Bain and Tupeni Baba .
And what did Dr Bavadra stand for, what was his message
Dr Bavadra reminds us :
Our fight is political, yes - but it is more. It is just and it is fair. Do not be afraid. Many have faced times more trying than this. What are we, if we cannot stand up for what is right and work for what is fair? There must be the basic standards of goodness we set ourselves - and if we follow them we cannot falter. In the end, we will prevail. (p.379)
Like Dr Bavadra Mick Beddoes has stood steadfast and has not allowed the adversities, the personal attacks and the character assassinations to deter or cower him. With his courage to stand up against the Fiji Military Dictatorship Beddoes too has shown a will to live a live of dignity.
Beddoes criticism of the Melanesian Spearhead Group's failure to follow its own guidelines on upholding democratic principles and values is valid. The regime propagandists - which includes the Fiji Sun newspaper - have launched a vitriolic attack on him for precisely that reason. The truth in Beddoes criticism hurts - the regime.
Here is what two very prominent Papua New Guinean leaders said at the time of Dr Bavadra's death.
(Sir)Michael T Somare said 4 Nov, 1984 p.366:
...Dr Bavadra leaves a mark that will be long remembered in the history of Fiji. His commitment to the principles of peace and democracy and qualities of leadership should shine in the hearts and minds of the people of Fiji as they venture into the future...
And Bernand Mullu Narokobi, Minister for Justice,PNG said :
"... His long suffering[from his unjust political persecution at the hands of the then military rulers], patience, fairmindedness, love for justice and peace under the rule of law will always be remembered...[Dr Bavadra]was a "man with ... a firm hope for a peaceful Fiji and the Pacific" [that hope continues to be sabotaged by the repeat military takeover in Fiji and the MSG "embracing" it as Beddoes has point out] ... I will greatly miss you in political fora, committed to social progress under liberal democracy"
Dr Bavadra's message and commitment to democracy remains as valid today after the current Fiji military takeover as when he struggled for the restoration of democracy after the first coup of 1987..
The book from which I have quoted ends with a photo of Dr Bavadra standing with a protest poster which reads :
WE DEMAND THE RESTORATION OF PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY.
Mick Beddoes is keeping Dr Bavadra's memories and message alive.
I applaud him for that .
I applaud every one who is prepared to stand up against the dictatorship in Fiji and fight for the restoration of democracy as Dr Bavadra had demanded.
And I say shame on everyone who has "embraced" the dictatorship.
sincerely,
rajend naidu

The incidents come after a brutal spate of sorcery-related crimes that have sparked condemnation from the United Nations and undermined the poor Pacific country's standing as a destination for tourism and investment.

In the latest case, the white academic told AFP that she was attacked on Friday while conducting research on birds and the impact of climate change in a remote forest on Karkar Island in Madang province.

Police in the capital Port Moresby on Sunday confirmed the attack.

"We have taken statements but no arrests have been made yet," a spokesman told AFP. "This is a very serious incident."

The 32-year-old was walking along a bush track with her husband and a guide when nine men armed with rifles and knives ambushed them, stripping the husband and guide naked and tying them up, she said.

They then stripped her, bound her hands, cut off her blonde hair to the scalp and gang-raped her for about 20 minutes before something in the forest startled them and they ran away.

The guide managed to break free and the three of them fled naked back to the nearest village, several hours away, she said.

The husband and wife returned to Port Moresby on Saturday, where they were met by a photographer working for AFP who helped them file police reports and organise a flight out of the country.

The case was also reported to the US embassy. A duty officer told AFP Sunday that the embassy had no comment to offer.

Violence against women is endemic in Papua New Guinea, but it is rare for a white woman to be targeted, and the academic said she wanted to tell her story to shine a light on the issue.

"This story should not come out because I am white," said the woman, who was on her fifth visit to the country since 2010, often staying for up to four months to conduct research.

"It should come out in hopes that it empowers Papua New Guinean women to stand up and say no more violence against women in this country.

"I hope my story can make a change."

The American's ordeal comes barely a week after Australian Robert Purdy, 62, was shot dead at Mount Hagen, in PNG's Western Highlands, and a woman he was with, reportedly from the Philippines, was gang-raped by 10 armed men.

PNG Prime Minister Peter O'Neill condemned that attack as the "cowardly act of animals".

"This kind of behaviour totally undermines our efforts to make our country a safe destination for investment and tourists," he said.

editor,
See in regime bullshit propagating paper the Fiji Sun 22/4 an excellent letter by Jalesi Nakarawa of Hamilton, New Zealand which the Fiji Sun published to save its blackened face.
Jalesi points out that the A-G's condemnation of Mick Beddoes ABC interview "was given prominent coverage"( Read reported in full) whereas Beddoes response in his defense "appeared as an edited version in the letters to editor".
The Editor has in a postscript made a pathetic attempt to justify this apparent breach of ethical journalistic standards of balanced reporting by claiming "It is standard practice to edit for brevity and clarity were needed".
In Mich Beddoes case it was NOT NEEDED. It was clear and brief considering the importance of the issue he was raising - for the national good. The people of Fiji have the right to hear in full Mich Beddoes defense of his position regarding his criticism of the MSG's relations with the Fiji dictatorship vis-a-vis the illegal A-G's. Remember Beddoes was an elected MP. What is the basis of the A-G's appointment? Remember he is an illegal A-G in an illegal regime.
The Fiji Sun editor's defense is no defense. We all know where the Fiji Sun and its Editor are coming from. They are regime propagandist.
Why do you think this letter you are reading is submitted here to C4.5 for publication?
Because it'd never see the light of day in the Fiji Sun or any Fiji media. The media in fiji is as C4.5 points out "heavily censored" not only by the Fiji military dictatorship but through self-censorship by pro-regime media people like the Fiji Sun Editor.

The democracy movement and UFDF needs to pick up its campaign. Is it getting the petition out to people? Has it been posted on the internet and websites? How is it being passed around among villagers? It would be better to mobilise people behind the petition than to challenge the regime to a tv debate.

The UFDF today issued a challenge to the Bainimarama Regime to engage with the UFDF in a series of nationally televised debates on the merits & demerits of the2012 Peoples Draft and the 2013 Regime draft

In a statement issued today the UFDF has issued a challenge to Frank Bainimarama and Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to face off against the UFDF in a series of nationally televised debates on the merits and demerits of the 2012 People’s Draft and their 2013 Regime Draft.

The UFDF said the local and regional media should be permitted to broadcast the debates and people should be allowed to vote at the end of each debate and the winner declared.

The main topics for debate must be mutually agreed to by both parties and could cover the following topics:

The 2012 People’s Draft
The 2013 Regime Draft
Transitional Government
Role of the Military
Immunity

Anonymous said...

The dictatorship of bainimarama is Not about rational public debate and discourse. It is about diktats and shoving their "vision" down everyone's throat!
That is THE way of the Dictator!
But UFDF strategy to call for a debate is good. If they refuse (and they will) then the people will know the regime has been bullshitting about the draft to them .

Anonymous said...

Anon at 2.43pm. It's not like we're in a democracy where parties debate each other and get equal time on television. We know that won't happen and that they won't 'reveal' what is in the draft before they sign off on it. It's a waste of energy for UDFD to make these challenges when it knows it won't get the reaction it wants.

Can someone check out whether this chief is on welfare?
When I was working in Social Welfare in Fiji and travelling around the country I would often get a list of referrals from village chiefs and guess what the chiefs name would be the first one on the list!
The illegal Minister for Social Welfare is clearly on a pre-election campaign tour to bolster support for the draft constitution and her illegal PM and her illegal government.
Isn't this the sort of "vote-buying" this "government" of the usurpers had accussed the Qarase government of practicing and called it abuse of office?

Former Zambian president 76yo Rupiah Banda who ruled from 2008-11 was stripped of his presidential immunity last month and now faces a string of corruption related charges.
He is alleged to have acquired 9 trucks from a Chinese State owned construction comapany that was building a stadium there. The Chinese company says the charge is not true as the trucks were donated to State House as part of a diplomatic agreement between China and Zambia.(We would need WikiLeaks to get to the bottom of this one!!).
Banda is also to be tried for profiting from a Nigerian crude oil deal from which his family members are also said to have benefited. He is said to have made over $11 million from his side deals during his 3 year rule.(Aljazeera 22/4 and Daily Nation 22/4).
Shows just because someone is a State official, president, prime minister, minister does NOT mean he or she is clean.
There are many cases to show they can be shitty scoundrels.
I would be interesting to discover in due course what we had during the Fiji military dictatorship of Frank Bainimarama from 2006 to...

WE read in the article 'More women in power is Fiji advocate's recipe for no coup'in Pacific.Scoop (20 April) that the head of the Fiji national council of women told delegates at the Pacific Parliamentary and Political leaders Forum in wellington that "In fiji we had four coups and there were no women in Parliament". She said " Maybe it will stop the coup culture if we had more women ".
Maybe not.
In each of the four coups there were prominent women leaders siding with the coup makers.
One only has to look at the present coup installed regime to know women too can be party to dirty politics.
What Fiji needs is good honest political leadership committed to good democratic governance.
None of the women leaders associated with the present Fiji Military Government qualify.
These are women leaders who have put their self-interest and their status above the national interest.
They are party to the rape of democracy in Fiji as accomplices.

How democratic is the chiefly system. We ethier have the chiefly system or democracy ruling Fiji, not both. It is not democratic if the chiefly system sits above the Govt and appoints the President. Chiefs have shown their failures by not leading their poeple in 1987 and 2000 in the right manner. If they stood up for democracy during both these times i would have had more respect for them.

Chiefs do not own the land, the people or the vanua owns the land. Chiefs technically do not own the land, they simply lead their people. Also chiefs came to being when they fought wars to get that recognition. Not like currently, sitting under the mango tree, drink home-brew and expect to be respected.

If we had real chiefs amongst us, many would have lost their lives in taking the bullet from the military in opposing the current regime. This hasn't happened nor will it.

Funeral moves one day for PM

Serafina Silaitoga
Monday, April 22, 2013

THE funeral service of the late taukei Bolatagane and paramount chief of Macuata, Ratu Aisea Katonivere will be held on Saturday morning.

The decision made earlier by traditional leaders to have his funeral on Friday morning has been changed after a humble request from government leaders who wished to be at the final church service of the high chief.

Taukei Namara Ratu Peni Sogia said the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama would be at the funeral service.

"We have been informed that our PM wants to be in the funeral service so we have decided to shift it to Saturday. We are honoured to have him in the village and join us for the last church service of our high chief.

TRAITORS TO THE END

"Right now in the village, people are preparing for the funeral gathering. Today (yesterday) is Sunday and villagers are in their own homes.

"From tomorrow (today) the village work will start again and that includes cleaning up of the village, preparing the food for the funeral gathering and accommodation for those who will stay in the village," Ratu Peni said.

He added that the gonedau (fishermen of the Tui Macuata) would be out at sea from this morning to collect sea food and fish for the funeral.

"We are prepared for the funeral of our high chief and the vanua of Macuata will accord him the best farewell he deserves as a paramount chief.

"It hurts to let him go but God is in control and we know that our chief has gone to a better place," Ratu Peni said.

YEAH, HELL.

The church service will be held at 10am at the Methodist Church in the village.

Having read the vile comments on this site directed against Margaret Thatcher when she died, I'm not too surprised to read the disrespectful things now being said about the late Tui Macuata. In Thatcher's case, she stood up against the bullies and despots, whilst in the Tui Macuata's, he accommodated and collaborated with them. I guess it's now up to God to judge who was right, just as one day He will judge their detractors and us all

No wonder the U.S is a target around the world and on its own soil!

The United States of America will support Fiji’s process to form a new constitution and hold democratic elections in 2014.

USA Bureau of East Asia and Pacific Affairs deputy assistant secretary Edgard Kagan communicated this to Fiji’s Ambassador to the US, Winston Thompson following a recent meeting between the two.

Kagan says the US Government is ready to provide further assistance in areas in which they have expertise.

A Fijian Government statement said Ambassador Thomson has been consistent in his updates to US government officials on the progress made by Fiji in its electoral process including the recent draft constitution feedback forums.

God will judge when it is His turn to judge - whenever that is. Meantime ordinary human beings will judge. Anntony says in Act 3, Scene ii in William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar :
" the evil that men do lives after them ..."
Add women and that might explain "the vile comments" against the late PM Margaret Thatcher. Many such comments are routinely directed at African Presidents and long after they are dead and gone. And for good reason. Many such comments are also made about the many tyrants who ruled in European countries. Nobody should be overly upset about "the vile comments" against Margaret Thatcher unless you are the type who believes some leaders - especially the Anglo-Saxon variety - are incapable of wrongdoing! which of course is a load of bullshit. History shows that all too well. Now go take a cold shower!

Anon @ 10:01 AM, never mind the anonymous writer @ 8:43 AM. That's just Rajend Naidu again. He means well, but he sometimes lets his ideology get in the way of decency and common sense. Blaming the US for everything is his stock in trade. Next he'll probably tell us that the US government fabricated the whole thing.

Yes, it was a pretty despicable thing to say -- probably not what he'd want to say to the parents of the eight year-old victim.

Rajend thinks the Americans deserved the bombing because its government has told the regime "the United States of America will support Fiji’s process to form a new constitution and hold democratic elections in 2014." That doesn't necessarily mean that the US supports Bainimarama's phony process, but that's still enough for Rajend to say that the United States deserved the bombing.

Let's see, which is it? Is it the constitution or is it the democratic elections that Rajend opposes for Fiji?

The governments of Australia and New Zealand have already supported Fiji's process to form a new constitution and hold democratic elections in 2014. So, does that mean that they, too, deserve for terrorist bombs to explode in the streets of Auckland or in Rajend's new hometown of Sydney?

Hmmm, come to think of it, maybe the AFP needs to keep an eye on Rajend. Just saying.

If that outrageous statement was falsely attributed to Rajend, then why didn't he simply repudiate it? His failure to do can only fuel our suspicions.

Is it because the attribution wasn't false and he is a liar who really did make that statement? Or is it because he subscribes to the statement and sympathises with the terrorists in the bombing?

Given this second opportunity to explain his position, we'll see if Rajend gives us a straight answer this time or more Qorvis-style spin.

WHY IS PNG GIVING $40M TO FIJI WHEN IT IS DESPERATELY POOR HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE ETC ETC
SYDNEY (AFP) - Police in Papua New Guinea have detained four men over the gang-rape of a US academic after a massive manhunt, with officials Tuesday urging locals to help find five suspects still on the run.

The American woman said she was was stripped naked, had her hands bound and was raped by the armed mob last week after they tied up her husband and a guide on a jungle trail on Karkar Island in Madang province.

She spoke about her ordeal to AFP before fleeing back to the United States, in order to raise awareness about rampant violence against women in the desperately poor Pacific country.

"I hope my story can make a change," she said.

Madang provincial police commander Chief Superintendent Sylvester Kalaut told the National Broadcasting Corporation of PNG that seven of the men allegedly sexually assaulted the woman while two others kept watch.

"I'm appealing to the law-abiding citizens on Karkar to help police with information so we can have all of the suspects rounded up," he said.

"Obviously it's best for our country.

"Our people are abusing expatriates who are here in the province or the country who are here to provide services to our people."

AFP could not immediately reach Kalaut or police in the capital Port Moresby.

Brutality against women including domestic violence is endemic in Papua New Guinea, but it is rare for a white woman to be targeted. The penalty for rape is life imprisonment.

The academic's case came barely a week after an Australian was killed and his friend sexually assaulted by a group of men in the Western Highlands. Prime Minister Peter O'Neill condemned the attack as the "cowardly act of animals".

The National newspaper on Tuesday reported that two men were being questioned over that incident, but up to eight remained at large.
As well as the attacks on foreigners, PNG's reputation has been blighted recently by a savage spate of sorcery-related crimes, including murders and beheadings, prompting condemnation from the United Nations.

Breaking news : Anoymous 5.54 AM is the scoundrel who posted the comment that "callously blamed the American government for the bombing of the Boston Marathon". He set up a strawman to attack rajend naidu. A strawman is a type of argument and is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position. That is precisely what this Anonymous scoundrel has been doing.
But his baiting and bullshit will get him no where.

Anonymous said...

There you have it, folks. There's your answer.

If Rajend Naidu did NOT post the message blaming the US government for the Boston Marathon bombing, then he should have had no trouble repudiating it. If Rajend Naidu really believed a political opponent had posted the comment, then he should have had no trouble vehemently rejecting its outrageous sentiment. But Rajend Naidu didn't do that now, did he?

That tells us what we needed to know. That tells us that Rajend Naidu is a liar. It also tells us that he is a coward unable to stand by his own comments.

Anonymous said...

Rajend, we know what a strawman argument is, and the posting by Anonymous 5:54 doesn't qualify. But your own posting at 12:20 PM does seem to qualify as a red herring, designed to divert attention away from the fact that you still haven't repudiated the despicable message the poster imputes to you.

If you didn't post the message blaming the US government for the Boston Marathon bombings, as you claim, then why don't you simply condemn the message? Why the red herrings? Why not just a straightforward statement of condemnation?

Otherwise, what are we to conclude except that you really did make the statement and are now lying to try to hide the fact?

Anonymous said...

I've often found myself in violent agreement with Rajend Naidu's criticisms of the Bainimarama regime, even if I've been occasionally baffled by his other comments. So, it's been interesting, and frankly a little disappointing, to watch him squirm so much in response to the allegations that he: 1) anonymously posted the scurrilous comment blaming the U.S. Government for the bombings at the Boston Marathon, 2) is lying when he disavows the Boston Marathon comment, as evidenced by his repeated failure/refusal to repudiate the sentiment it expressed, and 3) often posts anonymous comments on C4.5 supporting, praising and glorifying himself.

I'm disturbed by Rajend's failure again to clarify his views in his comment of 12:20 p.m. In fact, this latest comment is itself a strong indication that Rajend is indeed the author of the emails written anonymously, and dishonestly, in his own support. Notice how he makes the mistake of posting under his name, forgetting that in his text he refers to himself in the third person. This indicates that Rajend originally intended to send this email, anonymously, in his own support.

If, as he claims, Rajend never made the ghastly Boston Marathon comment, then he should simply repudiate it and not waste his time trying to spin it as a political attack by the regime, which clearly it is not. If he did make the comment, then Rajend should either own and defend it or do the manly thing and apologise for it.

Rajend needs to stop trying to paint himself as a victim and instead answer his critics. He should continue to speak out against injustice wherever he finds it but focus on Fiji and subjects he knows. And he definitely should end his unsubtle self-promotion campaign, because it's beginning to backfire and cast him in a very unflattering light.

The FBI / CIA knew about possible threat to the Twin Towers in 9/11 but they allowed it and possibly even assisted it.
They were warned by Mossad and also the German Secret Service.

Even the Mossad boys were filming the event when they were caught by NYPD.

12 Direct witnesses to the 9/11 tragedy were then systematically murdered after the event over a 6 month period.

Hmmmm. Is the US Govt responsible? Look at the facts and make your judgement.

who were the people behind that nasty smear campaign against Rajend Naidu -accusing him of blaming the US government for the Boston bombing and suggesting the AFP should keep him on its radar? what was their agenda? what were they hoping to achieve with their campaign?

Anonymous said...

Thank you to Coup 4.5 for clarifying whether Rajend Naidu was the author of the despicable Boston Marathon bombing comment. Rajend himself is apparently incapable of giving a direct answer to a direct question. Rapidly losing all respect for this guy.

According to Mataboko's reasoning, Qarase and Andrew Hughes must have been responsible for the December 2006 coup, since they were warned about Bainimarama in advance.

It seems that every other posting now is by Rajend Naidu -- whether signed by him or not -- or opposed to Rajend Naidu. It's almost as though this is now Rajend's own Grubsheet. And the subject is never Fiji. Isn't this supposed to be a blog where people concerned about FIJI write about what's happening in FIJI???

Rajend is becoming as annoying as Semi Meo, another ceaseless self-promoter -- even worse, actually, as at least Semi Meo's topics contain some humour and ARE ABOUT FIJI.

Q: Who is behind "the smear campaign against Rajend Naidu, accusing him of blaming the US government for the Boston bombing"?
A: Rajend Naidu himself. Rajend could have resolved the matter at the beginning by simply repudiating the statement, but he did not. With his frequent criticism of the US, resort to anonymous postings, and skewed logic, the statement fit his modus operandi exactly. And his unwillingness to repudiate the statement still leaves wide open the possibility that he shares its premise.

Q: What was "their" agenda?
A: Rajend's agenda has always been about promoting Rajend.

Q: What did "they" hope to achieve?
A: Fame and eventual political office.

after C4.4 clarified is was not rajend naidu who posted that boston bombing comment an apology from the person who falsely accused him would have been in order . that is what a decent person would have done.Instead he continues to hurl abuse at him!
that must say a lot about what kind of shitty scoundrel he is!

Rajend Naidu and Alike, thank you for your replying that your comments are only for the intelligent. An idiot like me is with the majority victims to your own cleverness, intelligent and educated human being, when we the poor, the needy, the oppressed and neglected people of Fiji were being cheated, fooled, deceived and corrupted because we believed in all what you said or write. You took it all and make yourself rich with it, good homes, cars, whisky and wai, good foods and left us homeless with rags clothing and fight amongst ourselves on the street for survival because we are your IDIOTS. Thank you.One thing you forgotten that God is watching and He hears our prayers of pains and suffering you left with us your IDIOTS. Once again thank you Rajend Naidu & Alike, The Intelligent Man. Please write meaningful comments on the subject matters. IDIOT

editor,
In her letter "Terror analysis" Maria Heiberg points out "those who analyse terrorist excesses in terms of politics, justifying the unjustifiable, often blaming the victims and trying to find excuses" are typically engaged in "blame shifting" (the Australian 25/4).
We notice happening with the Bainimarama Military coup in Fiji - the spurious rationalizations and blame shifting.
Blame must always be put where it rightly belongs.
sincerely,
rajend naidu

(Ps : this letter is dedicated to Anonymous 9.15 PM with the hope that he might learn to do that - put the blame where it rightly belongs).

Rajend Naidu is responsible for all the pain, the suffering the shit that is happening in Fiji! IDIOT!

Mataboko said...

@anonymous 8:29
In a way they were.
When they realised they did not have the support of the army ( after trying to engage Pita Driti), they should have gone to Australia & NZ and immediately activate BIKETAWA.

Anonymous said...

Isn't blaming the US government for the Boston Marathon bombings a form of blame shifting, Rajend Naidu? I'm not accusing you of doing that but only seek to clarify your own attitude on this issue.

Mataboko said...

@anonymous 8:29
I think in hindsight Qarase saw that he did not have much support from the other political parties ( eg Chaudry joined Bai), Human Rights Commisioner, from the President and from the Academics of USP and even the Catholic Church (Father Mataca).
Ontop of this there was apathy from the Methodist Church.
Apart from some "sanction" there wasn't much support from Australia and NZ
In the end ALL these people contributed to the demise of DEMOCRACY in Fiji.

At present we are now caught up in a merry-go-round of tit for tat Constitution-making and Bullshitting etc etc.
I hope the people learn a lesson from their stupidity in supporting the Coup.

Anonymous said...

Very interesting, Mataboko. So, your point is that Qarase and Hughes were not the perpetrators, but they share some culpability for what happened, because they didn't do enough to stop it. Is that right?

How far does this principle apply? The American academic raped by a gang of armed men recently in PNG is to be blamed, correct, because she didn't travel with enough armed companions? Ordinary Fijians are to be blamed for the December 2006 coup because we didn't immediately rally against the coup plotters. Is that right?

Isn't this a form of the 'blame shifting'to which Rajend Naidu refers in his previous posting?

And are you the one who posted the original comment blaming the US government for the Boston Marathon bombing?

Mataboko said...

@anonymous 3:02
1)No I'm not the original poster of the comment blaming the US government for the Boston bombing.
I only joined the discussio because there is some element of truth.
2) Secondly the US government and Qarase government cannot be compared in their involvement.
The US government is implicated by its sins of Commission
The Qarase government is implicated by its sins of Ommision.

The US government (at least the top 3 people ie Bush, Cheney & Rumsfeldt and their lackeys) had a direct hand in blowing up the Twin Towers,
whereas Qarase had no direct involvement in the Coup against his own government.
That is the difference.

Mataboko, you are a stench in the nostrils of humanity. I wouldn't even call you a conspiracy theorist, as that would dignify your venomous stupidity too much. Whoever called you a despicable POS had it right the first time.

Mataboko said...

@anonymous 2:17
You seem to have a problem with the truth.
Let me just tell you 2 things
1) On the morning of 9/11, Dick Cheney ordered NORAD to stand down.

Is that just coincidence?

2) On the morning of the Boston Bombing , the authorities warned the participants that there will be mock bombings and they should remain calm while running.

If you look at photos just before the explotion you can see Navy Seals dressed as civilians and one even had a detonator in his hand.

Check out this site :

And stop burying your head in the sand.If you keep doing that, Bainimarama will stick his finger up your arse and you wont be able to see it.

So open your eyes my friend.

Sa rauta mada na viavia vakilakila. Dolava na matamu ka vakatataro.

Mataboko, I researched your claims about the Boston Marathon bombing and 9/11, and it was an eye opener, indeed. I was shocked by what I learned.

It turns out that the hijacked airplane did not crash into the Pentagon, as is often claimed. Flight 77 and its passengers are being hidden with Elvis and the Roswell aliens at Hangar 18.

I also learned that Paul McCartney and Princess Diana were both assassinated by British intelligence agencies. They were acting on the orders of members of the royal family who had been brainwashed by Margaret Thatcher using subliminal messaging at a time she knew they wouldn't be wearing their tinfoil hats. Diana had to die because she knew too much about the faked moon landings. Paul had to die because he was The Walrus.

Now that my eyes have been opened, I also know that the real threat to Fiji isn't Bainimarama, but the international Jewish conspiracy. The fact that you try to divert our attention to Bainimarama just shows you're a tool of the Bildenburger and Rothschilds plot for a new world order through chemtrails, fluoridated water, and their secret control of the worldwide military-industrial complex.

For God's sake, open your eyes, man!

The Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office Pio Tikoduadua opened a new kindergarten in Matacaucau village in Tailevu and urged parents and guardians to be conscious of their children's educational needs (Fiji Sun).
This is all part of the regime's voting buying tactic for the elections using state resources.

You sound like an Alien sponging off the Fiji taxpayer.
You should piss off back to America quicksmart.
If you dont hurry, the green goons will come and get you and take you to Delainabua, where they will conduct experiments of their own.
That usually involves smoking out the lower end of the intestine.
You be careful now.

Anonymous said...

Kamlesh, you're scaring me. Lol.

I need to beware the green goons? You're the one who'd better be careful, mate. THEY know who YOU are, and I'm not just talking about Bainimarama's people. I mean the guys in the black helicopters.

Why would I want to go to America? No, as Mataboko and anti-capitalists like Rajend Naidu can surely tell you, I'd be better off in a democratic country like North Korea than in a place like America, where all I'll have to eat is hot snow.

Don't believe me? Check out this link:

In America, everyone is living off of handouts from North Korea, and this video is the proof. Mataboko has opened my eyes.

correction : I am not anti- capitalist.I am anti capitalist pigs.
I am not anti- Fiji government. I am anti - Fiji bad government. And at the present time that is what Fiji has.I am not the only one to notice that. the latest statement from CMAG has also noted that and wants Fiji to get back to good democratic government. A good democratic society keeps a good eye on crooked capitalist - for the public good. Hopefully this will help clarify my position.

Guess what, I know who you are.
You are a stinking grey goon.
When we get hold of you we'll take you to Area Delainabua and let them do experiments on you. Their chief Naliva will prod your anus.
May be you will like it.
Grey goons like you should f%*k off back to America.
Go back to America and learn to be a good slave there.

@Anonymous 1:16 Why don't you just speak for yourself . You are the traitorous she dog.You should stop sniffing Bainimarama's arse. Why dont you piss off back to America. When you leave, you should take your useless bitch Davies with you.

Anonymous said...

Kamlesh Kumar, when I want lip from you I'll scrape it off of Bainimarama's zipper.

Bainimarama and Davis should hang for their crimes. Maybe you should hang with them, if you are the same Kamlesh Kumar of New Zealand who has written:

"Qarase was 100 times worse than Bainimara [sic].”

"Ratu Inoke is a very efficient Minister of Foreign Affairs. He did a splendid job for Ratu Mara and Rabuka... and now he is providing first class service to Bainimara [sic]. He should be our next Prime Minister.”

"Well done Bainimara [sic] and Aiyaz for not renewing this corrupt person's [Faizal Koya] contract.... Your clean up campaign is working. Kudos on you."

"[The] military is always fair."

Are you the same traitorous Kamlesh Kumar who wrote these statements in support of Bainimarama and his treasonous regime?

The same Kamlesh Kumar who claims to be residing in Mission Bay but is actually an overstayer hiding in a garage at Otahuhu?
