  2. SECTION 28:1 says the land shall not be permanently alienated....EXCEPT TO THE STATE"

WELL, THIS IS THE WHOLE FARKING POINT. THE STATE or GOVERNMENT NOW HAS THE POWER TO TAKE FIJIAN LAND FROM THE OWNERS.

IT NEVER HAD THIS POWER BEFORE

    SO AIYAZ KHAIYUM FARK YOU
BAINIMARAMA FARK YOU , YOU FARKING NO SCHOOL IDIOT. Did you not read that bit? or are you selling the Indeginous Fijians for your own personal gain.

KEMUNI NA SOTIA SA QAI SO NA SOTIA ULUKAU

  3. GCC originated as Native Council prior to 1874 and formalised in 1876. It WAS NOT REPRESENTATIVE of the ITAUKEI. Council consisted of Cakobau, his brother, a son, and cousins from Nadroga, Kadavu, Rewa, Bua, Cakaudrove and Macuata. As a iTaukei, I am just as passionate about my land and sea. I am also cautious and not sure of the sincerity of this Regime. I am however supportive of the approach that we the iTaukei are undergoing our own internal revolution just as the Methodist Church is leading with a beacon of light for the land. We must therefore face some hard truths and not be frightened. We must do away with structures that perpetuate poverty. We must stop lying about ourselves and look honestly at the mirror. Did the GCC really honour the mission of the Fijian Affairs to ensure the good governance and well-being of the people? No, it only looked after itself. Unfortunately, most members of the GCC were good men and women, but they were tainted by a few chiefs and not all but some greedy politicians. So, if chiefs now want to be involved in state decision making, they should just do so under the electoral system, otherwise, concentrate on their vanua such as what the Roko Tui Dreketi is doing, to uplift the lives of their people. WHen the vanua is strong, they should not form their own alliances, INDEPENDENT OFF THE GOVERNMENT, so that eventually we must never be dependent on this or any government and learn to make decisions for ourselves. Only then will Fiji REALLY move forward. When the iTaukei finds its course in this journey, all other Fijians will naturally follow suit and Fiji will be better than yesterday. Sa dri yani.

  4. In a perfect democracy isn't the state supposed to be the people that is if they are elected free and fair. I don't understand why the state which is a representative of the people cannot use land for the betterment of the country with the land owners consent of course and fair recompense. Being a native Fijian i do not see anything wrong with this. If the attitude of some landowners is that they do not wish to lease land for nation building and their interests are above the collective good of Fiji then we are truly farked. The problem will of course be when an unelected self appointed government is in power like what we have now. If their are no checks and balances in place then the end beneficiary of the land could be anyone and that will be a problem.

GUNS, CLUBS, SPEARS, KNIVES, AXES, ETC WILL BE USED CORRUPTED FIJIANS, INDIANS AND WHITE SKINS, AND CHINESE LIKE SEETO WILL BE KILLED. GOOD PEOPLE SUPPORTED THE GREAT COUNCIL OF CHIEFS AND FIJIAN TO LEAD THIS NATION WITH THE A BETTER CONSTITUTION AND NOT BK CONSTITUTION. WE THE YOUTHS OF ALL RACES ARE READY TO BURN THEIR HOMES AND PROPERTIES WHEN THE CALL COMES TO START. WE ARE NOT FOOLS LIKE YOU, THANK YOU.

  9. Taukei and Hindus do not do anything until Ratu Epeli Naiatikau assent the illegal Constitution. To all Hindus Brothers keep closer relationship with your Fijian brothers in your areas and keep tight communication as usual. Keep close watches on your targets and all their movements 24/7 from now on until the orders received to begin. Slowly increase the crime rate NOW to jam the prisons in thousands. There is no money to feed the prisons nor fuels and manpowers to combat our angers in protests. We had enough crying for a fair and just Constitution and Kaiyum forced it on Bainimarama and soldiers to force it on us under the barrel of the guns.

Do you own a piece of land? Do you know the real value of a land? Otherwise keep your comments to yourself. If our ancestors leased out all the land where would be today? The land use unit are leasing out land at a high rate. Check this new leases, nothing has changed, its just become a residential lease in the name of agricultural lease. Check with the new leases, just looks impressive on paper, the land owner becomes powerless in the next 30 years of lease, on the verge of become landless, its happening in business, it happening in our ID of everyone becoming fijians, our last trump card is the land.

I am not one of those you said:Anon one and same @ 2.01, 2.03 and 2.05pm. but I do agree with them because my land is mine and the authority is with you and Kaiyum. I am no fool to be lectured about the perfect good Constitution is in place when it is not true according to the Fijian interpretation I am holding as it printed in English in here C4.5.

  17. this is one of the best analysis of the BKC to date C4.5....I sincerely hope that AG, VB and the illegal regime will read these analysis and take reference from it and hopefully we can amend the whole constitution when the people's government go back to power hopefully in late 2014....Fiji need a real reconciliation/forgiveness and the establishment of a truth commission before we can move the nation forward...

Good on you for leasing out your lands because you got plenty of it. Your stupidity and idiotic greedy iTaukein ni qele did not have mercy to 2 - 3 of your own generation for a 99 years lease. What guarantee do you have after 99 years lease expired that your generation at that time with the Government of the day will get back the land you lease it today. Yalowai qai loma kocokoco. You already at the rocky rugged mountainous lands of Rakiraki if you are not careful your future generation will climb and live like Goats on those rocky areas.

.. Fijians should free up their land for use. The NLTB is taking you for a ride. Fijians have not benefitted from any government, because they lack the education and the know how to run a business and how to put their resources into good use. Ra lako tale mai na vulagi ra mai caka nodra, sa qai noda cakacaka ga na kakase kei na vaka vu coup. We should at least thank Bai for removing all the unecessary money wasting institutitons like the GCC. The NLTB should go as well.

What is more important is life after this. If God calls you tonight, it will not be for how much of your inheritance you kept, but, it will be how much of your God-given inheritance was freed/lease so that others may receive sustenance. And my friend, you shall rot and fry in hell if you maintain your status quo.

All along when I read your comments, it is obvious you are a Baini lackey. Why on earth should we thank your master Baini when it is well known that he ordered the murders of the CRW soldiers, ordered the torture of normal citizens at the barracks, defended police brutality of prisoners, stopped investigation in the murders of Rabaka and many more. He has blood on his hands and should be taken to task for these. Yet, with a small dangling of the carrot in your face, you chose to ignore all his crimes and proclaim in your own words "we should at least thank Bai..." Thank him for what? He is a criminal who should be put in jail for the rest of his life.

  24. Did God ever stop the killing of His faithful Pastors,His congregation and His churches been burnt to the ground by Muslims radical like Kaiyum doing to us in Fiji?

Kalounidraki, Prayers and Faith are good enough if we work for it. Cakacakataka na ka eda VAKABAUTA kei na veika eda MASULAKA tiko qai rawa ni soli vei keda na veika eda kerea vua na noda Kalou Bula.

God allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed few times ( twice by Muslims) because of LIUMURI, TRAITOR Christians who followed the MONEY or WEALTH and NOT THE WORD of God. We do not want the same to happen in Fiji our Vanua.

Read the Book of Nehemaih Chapters 4 and 5. or read the whole Book to understand the value of the Vanua, Lotu and Matavuvale.

Whatever you bound here in Fiji will also be bounded in Heaven.

God is our Commander in Chief and if he command us to strike and destroy you and Kaiyum we will do it without fear and regrets to defend and protect our Lands and Resources
for the sake of our innocent coming generations.

Allah spoke to the radical Muslim to kill Christians young and old, men and women, babies and pregnant women, their Pastors Christians and burnt their churches to the ground without any fear nor questions asked the Muslims executed the orders successfully without any provocation nor threats from our Christian Brothers and Sisters.

Do not forget the fell of Jerusalem and Jesus Christ being crucified were because of Christians like Kalounidraki who follow the MONEY and not the Word is God.

    Vinaka vakalevu.

  25. Anon @ 9.38pm, I do not follow money but common sense given to me by God. I am not a bible basher like you and prefer to LIVE what's in the bible by working hard honestly, whilst leasing out my land which my mataqali enjoy and the lessees benefit from, so they do not have to be parasites like you. 31. Kalounidraki, God the Creator of Heaven and Earth will never give you common sense full of EGO and GREED to forget your innocent coming generations. Satanism "common sense" taught you to give away a 99 years land leases in 2013 which 2 of your own generations lost inside there with no ownership and authority whatsoever over it until it is expired in year 2112. And sadly to say, due to the increasing in numbers in your own families, there is no guarantee that the Government of that day will return your land to your own innocent blood to use it and accommodate them

You are good in diverting attention when you locked in with your own words of common sense that god of evil gave you. You are sitting there in your high office enjoying the MONEY Kaiyum gave you. "FOLLOW THE MONEY"

Because of your so called common sense TO FOLLOW THE MONEY I will suffer the same with my coming generations over my limited land of 15,000 hectares because of the Laws and Constitution you supported today. I own the Land but the authority is with Kaiyum and his Constitution for Land Use Unit. The truth I have nothing. I will stand up and fight to death to protect and defend my land for my next generations because my God the Creator said so. The day of reckoning is coming near.

Kalounidraki, remember that yours and mine BLOOD WILL SHED FIRST before PEACE, LOVE and FORGIVING one another walks in and it may be too late for death has done his job. And if that is the way forward or backward so be it. I still love you and your family and please understand that Fiji is our only Vanua in this world and if we failed to protect and defend it NOW our next generation will become a race with no land and country in the coming world. I am sorry to say that in Hell we will receive our FOLLOW THE MONEY that Kaiyum gave you today. That is My Common Sense that my God given me. Vinaka vakalevu.

criminally charge at the Hague International Criminal Court of
    Justice?
Any lawyer in Fiji can fly
over and press charges on these two
    assoles? Laisenia,Beddoes,Chaudhry,

  33. Anon @ 3.09pm, problem is, the world now thinks along the same lines as Tuwere's Fiji Sun editorial in today's issue. That is, the abuse by indigenous leader at the cost of the development of their people. And, this Constitution of course, removes this, which is Fiji's response to ridding us of post-colonial spin-offs. Now Kenya having suffered similarly to Fiji, has actually gone a step father with its chiefs. That is, to become a politician, a chief must formally relinquish his/her traditional role. What I am trying to say is, the indigenous community is NOT the VICTIM in this Constitution, but rather, anyone who stands to lose his/her authority at the benefit of the democratic right and freedom of the citizens of Fiji! Sa dri yani.

  34. Anon @ 3.20pm, it seems to me that well-reads like Dr Brij Lal and others who should've known better yet continually uphold that the GCC should not've been removed are in fact cunning assholes who prefer to see the suffering of common iTaukei and effectively, the destruction of a race! Ni ra tamata qase ka lawaki ca, ka kuria yani o kemuni na viavia turaga kei kemuni na ta sukulu.

  35. By the decree of the last constitution and and if such legality exist with the present "constitution" the military and dictatorship should walk whats written and give it up.

There is no legal constitution unless declared via a democratic procedure... all else is a temporary attempt till election is done and done right.

if the military wants to do right then a neutral commission should be placed and be given legal rights to formulate a temporary charter that pertains to the procedures of elections only.

Bainimarama should allow for the elections only.... then let the legislators deal with the formulation of a new constitution if need be.

funny even this constitution is starring at him in the eye about the legality of any institute or operation or individual dictating how laws are to be executed and legalized.... when this very constitution is defining him as the guilty brainwashing machine.

in the end this doesn't take away the guilt of the present situation, rosy as it may look.... cause the law must stand.... This Law is not only written in the constitution but deep since time, written by God in Humanity regardless of creed race etc etc.

  36. BKC is a piece of paper or call
    it a
    regime document?
It is not a legal constitution unless & until it is
assented by the ruled or their representatives?
    No Governments
    worth it's salt, will recognized
such a document, until it is assented by the people?
