Fiji First scumbag candidates

Thanks to the hoops set up the regime, Opposition parties - especially the smaller ones - have understandably struggled to find candidates and the $1,000 to register them.

Taxpayer funded Fiji First on the hand has delivered a lacklustre crop of candidates, several carrying baggage and having conflicts of interest, damaging the party before it even hits the poll.

MIDA stalwart Matai Akauola has been widely criticised for being a candidate. Rightly so: how can he go from dictating media do's and don'ts to standing as a candidate for the party of a military dictatorship?

We are not surprised. He had confirmed last year he was going to stand, but as an Independent: guess the lure of fame and fortune was too much for him.
Ashneel Sudhakar: So much for 'diversity, integrity and meritocracy'.
Ashneel Sudhakar: a total scumbag and racist to boot. As you will see from these pics taken from his Facebook, he is gutter level filth and a waste of taxpayer money.

And a racist post from his Facebook that Fiji Sun journalist Jyoti Pratibha likes.

Murderer Praveen Bala
Praveen Bala: charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Nemani Bainivalu: Still roaming free despite assaulting a member of the public last month.

Aktar Ali: a human resources development specialist who has distributed this email offering business excellence awards in return for support.

Subject: 2014 General Elections

Dear Leadership Fiji colleagues,
I wish to bring to your attention that I have been a member of LF2010 group and have taken a quantum leap this year.

As you are aware that I have decided to contest the 2014 General Elections and represent you in Parliament.

This becomes my next biggest challenge to secure adequate votes to make it at that level.

The journey is no easy task given a significantly tough competition amongst many players.

I have opted to contest this election with FIJI FIRST due to many reasons.

Many of you will have your personal understanding and awareness of current situation in the country.

This is the time to make the right choice and the right decision. Our countries future depends on YOU as the power is in
the hands of the voters.

So make the right decision for the best interest of this beloved country.

I seek your support for this worthy course to steer the country towards a more progressive and responsive modern FIJI.

I know we can do it.......we should move now and transformation is imminent.

This nation is destined to grow into the best south pacific Island nation which we all have dreamt of. This dream will
become a reality soon.

Everyone is entitled to his/her choice and that choice will determine the countries future. Its in your hands.

For my family brothers and sisters out there- please VOTE for me so I can go in there and help the nation develop the way we want it.

I know all about FEA and it becomes easy to handle what you know. So lets make the change....I need your votes.

I have had tremendous support and accolades in the last few days and every comment is deposited to my data base.

For those that have supported me, your favorable comments will stay with me ever.

You can view your comments if you ever get to visit me in the Ministers Office....all LF members welcome.
But I need your support. You also have the right to support the party of your choice. But make the right choice and the right decision for FIJI.

Your support and comments are welcome.

In 2012 - I gave Fea the Business Excellence Presidents Award
In 2013 - I gave Fea the 18th National Quality Convention GOLD Award,
In 2014 - I will take Fea to the Parliament
In 2015 - I would have given Fea another Presidents Award.

I will send you updates as we get closer to the elections....but be prepared to change and move for a more vibrant Fiji.
All the best for you / Leadership Fiji / and our beloved country.
May God bless FIJI.

Kind Regards
Akhtar Ali

  2. Fiji First Campaign ManagerAugust 20, 2014 at 2:40 PM

The Fiji First party believe that Ashneel Sudhakar has the moral standards that we demand from our candidates. The voters should overlook his addiction to pornography and his anti-Christian views. Other than those two factors we believe he has the "right stuff" to take Fiji forward.

We also strongly endorse Praveen Bala. We must remind the voters that they should not comment on the dangerous driving matter as it is before the courts. The police are prosecuting Mr Bala and in turn Mr Bala has commenced civil litigation against the deceased man's family for the damage done to his vehicle.

We also commend to you Mr Nemani Bainivalu. We urge the voters to refrain from asking him any questions at all whilst he is campaigning for Fiji First. He has an exceptionally volatile and violent disposition that we believe will be an asset to the Fijian Parliament.

We also endorse Mr Matai Akauola to the voters of Fiji. We believe he would make an exceptional Minister for Social Welfare. His outstanding contribution to human rights in Fiji is well documented in the Chinese media. We are also considering him for Minister for Information as his previous position can only be described as overwhelmingly successful.

Mr Akhtar Ali comes to us on the strongest of recommendations both from Fijian sources and ISIS. We believe his extreme begging and grovelling skills (as displayed in his recent email) will be useful as Minister for Foreign Affairs. We believe he will be highly instrumental in the restoration of Foreign Aid programs to Fiji.

These men represent the highest calibre of candidates available to Fiji First. We urge you to vote for them as their moral standards are there for all to see.

  3. At the risk of breaching Doctor patient confidence, Mr Ashneel Sudhakar came in to my surgery last Tuesday.

He has been suffering damage to his eyesight caused by sitting in front of a computer all day (and most of the night) and excessive masturbation.

  4. So on one hand we have a wanabee politician with schoolboy level behaviour.

On the other hand we have wanabee politicians with blatant racist and lack of any vision behaviour.

  5. Please vote for me. Please please please. My Mum said she would think about voting for me but she hasn't made up her mind. She said at this stage she prefers the SODELPA candidates.

I don't have any policy ideas but I will do everything Mr Khaiyum tells me to do.

So why vote for me? Because I really really really really truly want to be a polamatishun.

Come on Mum please vote for me. Don't make me send Nemani around to the house. Don't forget, our party believes that violence from iTaukei men is normal behaviour.

  6. Lacklustre!!!!

That is the understatement of the year.

I wish I was a psychotic sycophant. I could have been a Fiji First candidate and enjoyed a parliamentarian pay packets and retirement package.

IS this the best they could come up with? Fiji First are starting to unravel.

Why was the Chinaman banished to the junglee.

Because he was a Jung Lee.

Hahahaha.....by the way the use of the word "Chinaman" is itself racist.

Hey Sudhakar...have any good ones about the Junglee Kaibitis.

"you son of a kaindia, you have no land" ...followed by some buturaki....isn't that what is expected from Fijian men as per the good doctor from FF.

We do expect a little higher standard from people we expect to represent in parliament - and those from the party that is so "multi-racial".

I don't know who your father is, but I am sure he would be just as disappointed in you as I am.

I love you my son and please don't take this the wrong way, but you can shove your FEA up your arse. You san come and visit me when you grow some balls.

But Mummy, wait! Give me another chance!

You've got it all wrong. Leadership skills aren't important any more.

That's the beauty of being a Fiji First candidate. Leadership skills are actually a detriment.

We only have one beloved leader, his name is Aiyaz — I mean Frank — Bainimarama. He is the greatest man since Genghis Khan.

Please don't make this so personal. Please leave my fathers out of this.

And please don't suggest again that I shove FEA up my ass. You know full well how difficult it was to extract it the last time.

I understand that you won't let me visit you until I grow some balls. But can I at least call you? Communicating with you via Coup 4.5 is a little embarrassing. Besides, while ot's true my testicles haven't descended yet, my man boobs ARE getting smaller!

You have the rght to support the party of your choice, but since I'm now with Fiji First, you really should vote for me. My bedwetting days are almost over now. Please try to put aside your anger and show some support.

I hope you'll think about it.

  51. My Dear Ahktar,

I agree. Communicating via c4.5 is hardly optimal. It is not your bedwetting that concerns me. The last time you visited me the family goat did not sleep for weeks. I called in the vet who prescribed anxiety medication. The poor creature appears to be recovering but I do not want it traumatised again.

I accept some responsibility. In hindsight I should not have made you sleep in the barn.

As for this election, I would have preferred you to run with a different party. I don't think you will cope very well in Naboro. If worse comes to worse and you are incarcerated I will visit you to bring your goat suit. If the other prisoners find a use for you it may keep you safe for a while.

Don't let your man boobs get too small. You need them to make the goat outfit look more real.

Good luck with the election. Say hi to Aiyaz for me. I love that man. It is real shame he linked up with that corrupt Bainimarama fellow. He would win the lection easily if he was on his own. I can't see why he could not hold 50 seats in parliament at the one time.

  53. THANK you Brother J Nakarawa for your letter and I believe other readers may have the same opinion. (FT 18/8)

When asked in my interview as to why I chose FijiFirst, I replied: "As a Christian, I believe that this current government has followed Christ's method of mingling with the people and visiting them where they live, having compassion on the people, meeting their needs and now, you are inviting them to follow you.

I want to be part of this movement, to put God first, others second and self last." Readers will look highly at the elected person, think about all the money he will earn and the good life he will enjoy, but I thank God that

He looks at the heart and believe me, if elected; it is all about meeting the needs of the people and showing them God's love, the very essence of God's government.

    SAVENACA VAKALIWALIWA, Nasinu

And they have the gall of criticising SODELPA candidates of putting GOD first before Fiji First. Above is their very own candidate putting God first, others second [which could mean his family & friends] and self last. Don't see a Fiji First there.

    ReplyDelete
  54. As a Christian I find the remarks of Brother Nakarawa to be biblically unsound and misleading.

Christ took no income from the people. He was given enough for bar subsistence. He did not lie to the people and hide any wealth.

Satan mingled with the people as much as Christ did. These criminal dictators have put themselves and their acquisition of wealth above the needs of the nation.

None of what he says he makes sense. Church and State should be separate. Your personal faith may influence the position you take in regards to policy, but to say you are putting God first and supporting Fiji First is any oxymoron.

Were the infamous and ruthless criminal dictators throughout history "God's Government".

If you wish to put God first, care for the people. Remain apolitical and do your best with His blessing to assist the less fortunate. I cannot find it in scripture where a Christian should support thieving, human rights abusing, corrupt and dangerous criminal regimes.

One should always be very careful when using Christ's example in the way that this "Brother" has. He will answer to God. That may be more frightening than answering to Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum. I urge this man to stop manipulating the people with half truths, for Christ's sake.

He should read the facebook pages of some of his party colleagues. The ones who ridicule God and Christ.

  57. RABUKA'S GOVERNMENT, SVT, WAS DEFEATED NOT BECAUSE OF CHAUDARY'S FIJI LABOUR PARTY, BUT IN 3 FOLDS;

    (1) IT WAS BECAUSE OF RABUKA HIMSELF WHO LIED TO THE INDIGENOUS FIJIAN RACE AS A WHOLE BY SAYING TO THE FIJIAN CHIEFS AND SUBJECTS AT THE CIVIC CENTRE THAT DAY "SA NODA NA QAQA" (VICTORY IS OURS) WHEN IN FACT DURING HIS LEADERSHIP AS PM FAILED TO DELIVER WHAT HE PROMISED PRIOR TO AND AFTER THE COUP OF 1987.

    (2) BECAUSE RABUKA'S FALSE PROMISES TOGETHER WITH MANY ADULTEROUS BEHAVIOUR AGAINST THE FIJIAN RACE AS A WHOLE, A PLAN TO ASSASSINATE HIM WAS SUGGESTED AND LATER SERIOUSLY ABANDONED BECAUSE OF THE, "NA VEIWEKANI VAKAVANUA VAKATURAGA AND THE LOTU" WHICH SAVED HIM AND THE SOLUTION WAS CUT HIM OUT AT THE POWER OF THE PEN IN THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION OF 1999.

AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO GET RID OF RABUKA, THE BIRTH OF THE NEW FIJIAN POLITICAL PARTY KNOWN AS THE " VEITOKANI LEWENIVANUA VAKA-KARISITO (VLV OR CHRISTIAN DEMOCRATIC PARTY) WAS FORMED BY THE ANGRY BREAKAWAYS MEMBERS OF THE SVT WHO DISLIKE THE UNBECOMING BEHAVIOUR OF RABUKA AS PRIME MINISTER IN HANDLING PRIME ISSUES OF THE LAND, QOLIQOLI AND RESOURCES. RABUKA WORST ACTION AS PM WHEN HE FIRED THE THEN MINISTER FOR LANDS, SAKEASI BUTADROKA, AND MINISTER FOR FIJIAN AFFAIRS, RATU MELI VESIKULA, WHO WERE DOING EXCELLENT JOB ON THE LAND, QOLIQOLI AND RESOURCES ISSUES TO EXACTLY WHAT THE FIJIAN CHIEFS AND VANUA WANTS. THE SUPPORT OF THE CHIEFS, LOTU AND VANUA TO RABUKA 1N 1987 COUP WERE NEVER SEEN IN RATU SUKUNA AND RATU MARA’S LEADERSHIP TIME.

THE DISTRUSTS UPON RABUKA AS PM WERE GRADUALLY PICKING UP MOMENTUM BECAUSE THE FIJIAN WERE FURTHERED LIED BY THE SACKING OF THE 2 FAITHFUL AND LOYAL FIJIAN MINISTERS UNTIL HIS FALL BY THE POWER OF THE PEN IN THE GENERAL ELECTION OF 1999.`

    (3) RABUKA SAW IT FIT TO GO IN COALITION WITH JAY RAM REDDY'S NATIONAL FEDERATION PARTY AS SOLE DECISION OF HIS WHICH WAS SOMEWHAT DICTATORIAL TO SOME SVT STALWART MEMBERS AT THAT TIME AND THE ANGERS BECAME WIDER AND WIDER, STRONGER AND STRONGER DAY BY DAY. THE MAN WAS LATER IDENTIFIED (AFTER 12 YEARS) AS THE MOST SLY, SLIPPERY, DANGEROUS AND TRAITOROUS INSIDERS OF ALL CLOSEST FRIEND OF RABUKA WAS RATU INOKE KUBUABOLA. HE IN FACT TODAY SURVIVED IT ALL THE 4 PRIME MINISTERS GOVERNMENT OF, RABUKA, CHAUDARY, QARASE AND BAINIMARAMA. THE QUESTION IS, “HOW DID HE DO IT TO REMAIN EMPLOYED BY ALL OF THEM FROM ONE EXTREME AS NATIONALIST TO ANOTHER EXTREME ANTI- NATIONALIST ?

AFTER THE GENERAL ELECTION THE FIJIAN VLV CANDIDATES LOST ALL CONSTITUENCIES AND THEIR PRE-ELECTION PLAN WERE TO TRANSFER MOST OF THEIR VOTING POWERS TO CHAUDARY FIJI LABOUR PARTY AND NOT TO RABUKA SVT & JAI RAM REDDY COALTION PARTY WHICH PUT MAHENDRA CHAUDARY FIJI LABOUR PARTY IN TO POWER (continue)

    ReplyDelete
  58. (continued)
CHAUDARY’S GOVERNMENT GOT THE POWER BUT IMMEDIATELY MADE THE SAME GRAVE MISTAKE AGAIN OVER THE LAND AND RESOURCES ISSUES, WHICH ALMOST GOT RABUKA KILLED TO BECOME THE FIRST FIJIAN PRIME MINISTER TO BE ASSASSINATED IN HIS HOMELAND, FIJI. IT WAS FOR THESE SAME GRAVE MISTAKES THAT TRIGGERED THE VLV AND SVT MEMBERS OR THE FIJIAN RACE AS A WHOLE IN PARTICULAR, GOT TOGETHER AND JOINED FORCES AGAIN TO OVERTHREW FIJI LABOUR PARTY GOVERNMENT FROM POWER WITHIN COUPLE OF WEEKS AND NOT FORGETTING TO MENTION HERE THAT MAHENDRA CHAUDARY ALMOST GOT SHOT ON THE HEAD AT THE PARLIAMENTARY GROUND IN THE YEAR 2000 COUP HEADED BY PM REAR ADMIRAL, FRANK BAINIMARAMA .

BRIGADIER GENERAL,SITIVENI LIGAMAMADA RABUKA WAS REMOVED BY THE POWER OF THE PEN IN THE GENERAL ELECTION TO STOP HIM FROM FURTHERING HIS OWN SOMEWHAT DICTATORIAL AND ADULTEROUS PRIME MINISTERHIP.

THE FIJIAN RACE WILL TAKE THE STREET IN UNISON AGAIN REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL PARTIES, MANIFESTO AND CONSTITUTION TO DEFEND WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY THEIRS BECAUSE FOR THE FUTURE OF THEIR OWN GENERATION TO COME. COME HELL OR HIGH WATERS WE HAD SEEN THEM DONE IT 3 TIMES BEFORE IN BROAD DAYLIGHT WITHOUT FEAR FOR THE WORLD TO SEE THE TRUTH ABOUT DEFENDING THEIR OWN INDIGENOUS FIJIAN ASPIRATION. THE LAND, QOLIQOLI AND RESOURCES.

TWO INDIGENOUS FIJIAN (BAVADRA & RABUKA) AND ONE INDIAN PRIME MINISTER (CHAUDARY) WERE THE VICTIMS OF THE OF THE FIJIAN RACE ANGERS WHICH WERE SUPPORTED BY THE MILITARY AND LOTU. BUT THE REMOVAL OF THE 3RD FIJIAN PM, LASENIA QARASE, WAS THE SOLE VICTIM OF FRANK BAINIMARAMA’S MILITARY COUP, TO STOP THE FIJI POLICE FROM INVESTIGATING HIM FURTHER FOR TREASON AND MURDER OF 5 CRW FELLOW SOLDIERS UNDER HIS COMMAND.
WE ONLY HAVE 23 DAYS LEFT TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT GOOD AND EVIL OR HATE AND LOVE OF THE FIJIAN INDIGENOUS RACE AS A WHOLE. EVERY SINGLE CHIEF WITHIN THEIR RESPECTIVE CLANS MAY OR MAY NOT SEE THE LAST OF HIS AUTHORITY AND RESPECT FROM THEIR SUBJECTS TO SIT AMICABLY, AS USUAL, TOGETHER AGAIN BECAUSE OF HIS RIGHTFUL OR WRONGFUL DECISION IN THIS GENERAL ELECTION AND MOST IMPORTANTLY BECAUSE THAT HE IS STANDING ALONE.

AIYAZ KHAIYUM SHOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO P.M. FRANK BAINIMARAMA TO ABOLISH THE GREAT COUNCIL OF CHIEFS BECAUSE OF ITS IMPORTANT ROLES IN CASE OF SERIOUS TROUBLES IN THE VANUA, LOTU. THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DAY SHOULD STAY CLOSELY WITH THE GCC TO GET THEIR SUPPORTS.

AS IT IS TODAY THE BAINIMARAMA/KHAYUM’S HOT AIR BALOON IS SO HIGH UP AND LOSING HOT AIR AND THE LANDING MAY BE DISASTROUS BUT NOT THE FALL.

FINALLY, THE WORRY OF RATU SUKUNA AND THE FALL FROM GRACE OF RATU MARA, RABUKA, CHAUDARY AND QARASE WERE ALL COME FROM THE LAND, QOLIQOLI AND RESOURCES ISSUES. IT IS NOW GLOBALLY EVIDENT TODAY THAT THE SAME APPLIED TO THE TODAY'S GLOBAL CRISIS ONE WAY OR ANOTHER AND IT IS ALSO CLEAR AS CRYSTAL THE BAINIMARAMA /KHAIYUM GOVERNMENT IS NOT EXEMPTED.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.

Freedom is His greatest gift next only to life itself. For anyone to say that Bainimarama's actions were divinely inspired is not familiar with true Christian teachings.

It is true that Bainimarama came at a time when Fiji and its people were decaying morally especiall those at the upper echelons of government and society. God has worked in this way before as told in the Bible about King David and King Solomon who committed adultery and murder and idolatry. But Bainimarama is not God's chosen saviour for Fiji. He has committed murder and caused corruption himselt.

I'm writing to endorse to you Fiji First's General Secretary, a man of remarkable energy, vision, and modesty, our courageous Attorney-General, Minister for Justice, Minister for Aviation, Minister for Tourism, Minister for Anti-Corruption, Minister for Public Enterprises, Minister for Industry, Minister for Investment, Minister for Communications, Minister for . . . well, darn near everything! . . . our own Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum. Not bad for someone who before the coup, er, I mean badly-needed "clean-up and transparency campaign" was an inexperienced staff attorney for Colonial Bank. Only in Fiji! Don't be misled by his slumdog looks or his coincidental resemblance to Satan, Mr. Sayed-Khaiyum is a Fijian through and through, with an iTaukei wife and well-turned legs in sulus to prove it. A self-starter and hard-charging go-getter, Mr. Sayed-Khaiyum helped draft and ratify the People's Charter, the Abrogation of the Constitution, the Public Emergency Decree, the Media Decree, the Political Parties Registration Decree, scores and scores of other decrees, and the 2013 Constitution — all without the help of the Fijian people! You'll be relieved to know that he's also in charge of the elections — leaving nothing to chance! Under his squeaky clean administration, Fiji has become virtually corruption free. It's also become so transparent that Transparency International can't even find it to list it! That's because Mr. Sayed-Khaiyum has a vision of a Fiji for all people, whether they be Muslim Fijian, Chinese Fijian, or even just iTaukei, to live in peace and harmony under only one banner, which he has yet to design, because he has been so busy. But elect him, and he will design our new banner, and you will like it. You will bloody well like it, because a new decree will guarantee that you do. So please vote for Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum! It isn't strictly mandatory, but, then again, it is.

There are many Indo in Fiji who do not want to identify with India. Back then there was no Pakistan.
British India later became India and Pakistan.

  79. Why do overseas Fiji Indians Support This Dictatorship.

There are two kinds of Indian who migrated from Fiji – those who migrated before the 1987 coup – they left because of the "pull" factor – other countries were “pulling” them, Fiji did not push them out. These Indian generally have very fond memories of Fiji.

After 1987, it was the “push” factor – Indians were pushed out. When people get pushed out, there is resentment.

Look at the immigrants in the US from Vietnam or Cuba – they were pushed out of their countries and they have a lot of resentment.

The majority of these foreign settled Indians now feel that Bainimarama and FF are finally going to root out those who were behind the previous coups and responsible of them being forced out of the country.

Just like the Cuban people in the US want the Cuban regime changed and the Vietnamese immigrant in US want the communist out of Vietnam because it was they who kicked out these immigrants, refugees etc.

That explains the large numbers of Indians, many of whom cannot even vote in this election are showing up to support Bainiamarama.

There are many Indians who support parties other the FF - but thesse guys are no as vocal and it is understandable - and thy will be voting - the Half of the Indians or more are not going to vote for FF.

Ashneel Bhai, no one was alleging any criminal activity, disciplinary actions or breaching the Electoral Decre - they are calling you a scumbag - you do get the difference, right?

I think what they were saying is that overall, you are a low-lifer and an idiot – or as the blogs put it – a scumbag. Not that there is anything illegal about being a scumbag. We have lot of lawyers who do stupid things, you happen to be one of them, just a lot worse.
Anyone running as our leader should have some standards and what people are trying to point out is that because you have a lower standard, as a politician you will be lowering the standards of our country.
Even if we held you to our own standards – you come out to be much lower than most of us.

Why don’t you address the issues raised.

Your ties with right wing Hindu fundamentalists.
You belittling the GCC, Christianity etc.
The amount of soft porn that we have seen you being associated with.

I'm from a Fijian indian background and do support fiji , in fact I would have gladly supported Sodelpa , had qarase not made racist comments , coupled with the fact that the lineup of their candidates don't hold much credibility either . I'm not saying that fiji first has a clean slate . Guys like Ashneel , Chaudhary , Felix Anthony , attar singh , qarase are all crooks . Ashneel is just a low down ( Hindu fundamentalist ) mother ... With strong allegiances to the ultra - nationalist , racial cleansing party BJP . In fact Nfp and labour have been like that for decades . Whilst I personally support Aiyaz and frank ..anyone in power should beaten to criticism ..... I am of the view that Fiji should be a Christian state , whilst allowing anyone their own religious freedom .every race has good and bad people .. I'm ashamed of people like Ashneel to be called Indian... He looks cheap , acts cheap , and just seems like a sleaze bag .. With no respect or dignity .... I grew up with Fijians and till today ... Cherish their friendship and fun loving personas . I hope that Fijians don't quickly judge us all as bad Indians ... As that would be sad . It would be a great day in Fiji when a leader is able to unite the races . Presently , little is done to teach and respect the cultures of the 2 major races . More has to be done at national level as I believe a lot of hatred stems from misconceptions . As the great Mandela said " if they can hate , they can also be taught to love ".

You say you support Frank and Khaiyum yet you want reconciliation.

These two men have damaged Fiji and the true picture of the nation's finances is not truly known.

When you take power by the gun and force feed decrees on the people it does immense damage.

If unity is to come, it must be done with all groups represented around the table. You cannot force unity.

When things are done in dictatorial fashion, i.e. land issues and the GCC, it only incites division and fear. Unity will come through consultancy. Each representative must be able to give and take. We have no freedom of gathering. We have no freedom of expression. The judiciary is compromised beyond belief. There has been no transparency. It has been a DICTATORSHIP. That is not a recipe for unity and love.

If you mean what you say you cannot possibly support these two thieves. Qarase is not running for parliament. His views are slowly fading. The more Indo Fijians join SODELPA and win the trust of the iTaukei, the closer we will be to unity.

These FF candidates are scumbags. They will not exercise their own judgment. They belong to a party that has not been democratically established. They will do what Frank and Aiyaz tell them to do.

Nothing that's forced can ever be right. For Fiji to heal we need to see Frank and Aiyaz brought to justice.

No one can call for reconciliation , it's the people that determine that in their daily lives . There are many races living harmoniously with each other in fiji .. It's the events of 1987 that entrenched racism at a national level in fiji . Not all Fijians are racists ( obviously as all Indians are not either ) . No leader can ever call for reconciliation at the twitch of a finger .... To love thy neighbour , thy thought needs to come from the heart and not the head . In supporting these guys I have weighed up all the options with an open heart .... And I sincerely believe that they have the best mandate for fiji ... Not a perfect one sir , as no government ever has a perfect formula . Do I think that frank and Aiyaz have done questionable things ? Hell yes , and believe me , I can point a a few more things that they have handled incorrectly , and again it would just be my opinion ( my two cents ) . I wholeheartedly agree that Gcc , should have been allowed to exist ( but with zero powers in state affairs ) . Sir , in India ( panchayat ) and even in png , solomons, Samoa , South America Etc they have very similar groups like Gcc that have slowly lost their status , for so many reasons . They simply lost touch , weren't adding any value , and honestly a lot of these men were simply there " for the ride " . I think frank should have taken it a little easy on them . If I vote for Sodelpa , I will be going against my own principles of supporting a racist party .... Damn they screwed it up , my brother my mother is a Christian .. And she asked last week " why did qarase screw things up for Sodelpa? My reply was " ,mum he is not there for the Fijian people , he is there for his personal vendetta ) . To me as much as frank maybe disliked by some Fijians ... He deserves respect for some of the most difficult decisions he may have made in his life . It may seem unjust to some but most will agree " it was just needed " I will gladly await your argument sir ..

    Thanks bro

Nicely stated. I see your point. The problem I have is that if FF win the election they will have legitimised the coup. Just because things are not going perfectly does not give anyone the right to take power by the gun.

Frank was protecting himself from prosecution. His motives are not pure. He is a criminal. Aiyaz is a power hungry man and dangerous.

I agree with your points about SODELPA. Their leaders should have come out quickly in their denouncement of Qarase. Like MPC, Qarase is a crook. We need fresh faces.

I urge you not to vote for FF. Find the best candidates you can from any other party and give them your support. Even an independent.

I am not trying to persuade you to vote any particular way. The track record of Frank and Khaiyum is too bad. You are obviously intelligent so I urge you to weigh up the pros and cons carefully. Consider all candidates and what they offer.

Frank is a deranged thug. He does not deserve a mandate. He is controlling the election. We need an IG and overseas assistance. That is not going to happen.

FF, FLP and SODELPA all need to be taught a lesson. It seems they are slow to learn or just plain self interested and ignorant.

    Good luck.

They will be shocked and 'pote'ed.They will be ashamed of the words that they have used because they will get in line to see the PMinister and call him 'Sir' when addressing him. They will pay respects to him when he enters their office, village or council premises. Then what was all the fuss about, its all about bull shit, talking about democracy when they dont want people who support FFirst to voice their support on this blog, talk about racism and dont want other races treated as equal under the Govt. What type of democracy is Sodelpa and these people yelling about, its bull shit democracy, demonic democracy whose agenda are from the bosom of Hell. This Govt is about equality for all that is real hard yakka democracy, there is no discriminnation, the Ratus and Adis will still be Ratu and Adis but treated fairly and equally with other races and people, gone are the democracy of yesteryears where the elite and high chiefs only are provided scholarships by the Govt to be taught at high end institutions like Oxford as provided to Rt sukuna and many other elite Universities provided to other chiefs and thiefs.ITS ALL EQUAL NOW,A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD,NO DISCRIMINATION

I honestly say that whatever the outcome of this election. ... People and I say this with respect .. Fijians should not resort to violence . This just won't solve any issues ... Violence and terrorism should never be an option . If frank and his boys don't do well .., we can all vote them out ... I may not even go and vote on Election Day ... Given that I've heard a lot of rumours about their affairs . I say rumours as we cannot judge , and we assume that they are innocent ... Until proven guilty and I fully understand that no one could have taken them on as they military was behind them . Ultimately , the truth will be out there , remember we live in " social media " age , and secrets don't last too long . Brother it is a pleasure to have some common sense people here . fiji is a small place ... The simple answer is that they will not change, they will continue to feel threatened by anything that shows up their own pathetic inadequacy.

The only advantage they have over 95% of the population, whatever others race, colour, religion or wealth status is that it takes very little to be better than them.

They will continue to be looked down on by the rest of the world for what they are not for what they believe they could be.

  114. in 2005, Mandela told a crowd in London of his proudest accomplishment: helping to end apartheid in South Africa.

"Never, never and never again shall it be that this beautiful land will again experience the oppression of one by another and suffer the indignity of being the skunk of the world. The sun shall never set on so glorious a human achievement. Let freedom reign, God Bless Africa," he said.

Dear readers ... I'm sharing this with you , as I love my country , Fiji , as stated earlier I'm indo Fijian ( with a Christian mother ) and I know that the land is not ours , it's irrelevant to me , I'm simply grateful that I was born in this great land , in the heart of Suva , and now that I'm older and supposedly wiser , I don't find any one of our leaders to command our respect , Like Mara did , like Ratu sukuna did , like the great Ganilau , and even . I believe that these gentlemen , had the ability to unite and lead . Today , sadly our country lacks that leadership . Although I have my own reservations about who I support , I cannot say that any single leader can give a speech today that has a nation in awe like the great Mandela once did . I remember the " slogan for a club along Ratu Mara road near the bus depot " United we stand , divided we fall ."

  127. I've watched Ro temus interview with fbc to try persuade myself to give SOdelpa a vote along with 16 others . We watched the interview 3 times . Our objective was : simply be impartial and objectify and find legitimate ideologies that the party has off us to give them a nod . Here is our conclusion ;

    - the host of the show , barely managed to challenge the leader on important issues . In fairness to him he did ask questions about race and qarases rant about the holy Quran . His follow up was very poor .

    - the fiji sun gentleman was pretty much the same . No one seems to focussing on issues of growth , unemployment , health care , infrastructure , climate change etc .

    - Ro was extremely evasive , sounded shockingly uneducated with a couple of good words thrown in here and there . Her skillset is void of any great ideas , the road ahead etc . They simply have one plan ; to win this election on plan b ; scare the common itaukei that their culture , language , land and identity is under fire . At one stage she almost likened the Itaukei to " extinction" but quickly retreated ... Much to our amusement .

This election will be won by " emotional blackmail "

For the record: there were 5 Indians , 2 Kailomas , 8 Fijians , and one Tongan watching this video .

7 of us will vote for fiji first .

The rest after watching her interview have just gone to the toilet to chuck some shit ... Which is exactly what came out of Ro's mouth .

  132. Don't forget that Bai was lamu to face Ro Teimumu on their recent planned debate on FBC TV.

If Bai can't make it then have Khaiyum attend. Then again Khaiyum ducked that meeting with Ro Teimumu last year at the AG's Chambers. The Marama was there to present a petition and all of sudden Khaiyum is lamu.

Now that is a joke Anon 3.28pm.

Speaking again of lamu, I do not hear the FFP talking about a truth and reconciliation commission should they win in September. What's the matter FFP? What's the matter Army? Scared of bringing Fiji together? The other parties are embracing bringing a Truth and Reconciliation Committee.

True leaders LEAD. So far, FFP just hopes that people will forget its past sins and just vote. That to me shows that FFP is even lamu of facing its own scary, sinful past.

As for Ro Teimumu's recent comments on 4 the Record, I think she missed a good opportunity to win greater support when she told Edwin Nand that there was no chance that SODELPA would consider forming a Govt of National Unity with FFP. After almost 8 years of polarization, a Govt of National Unity could be just what Fiji needs. It also helps solve any talk of further instability.

Seriously, if Ro Teimumu is able to say that it will talk with FLP after the elections before forming a coalition, what is to stop SODELPA from also talking with FFP?

Think about it, leadership is about making hard decisions and benefits ALL of Fiji, a Government of National Unity (especially between SODELPA and FFP) would certainly benefit all and earn Ro Teimumu and Bainimarama greater respect as leaders.

But alas the fringe idiotic supporters in all major parties would oppose forming a Government of National Unity. So sad and Fiji is worse off for it.

Just to be clear, Editor, you've traced several postings on this website to what appears to be a group of bloggers operating out of Clarendon House in Berkley Crescent, a government-restricted area, and they seem to be operating on something like an eight-hour shift? And these apparently regime-sponsored bloggers aren't trying to relate the truth, get out the facts, or even just put out an unabashed pro-regime spin on the facts, but they're actually slandering opponents in the ugliest, crudest, most graphically obscene language possible?

I guess that for those who have already sold themselves out to treason and other crimes, then slandering, lying and bearing false witness come pretty easily!

It would be interesting if, after you've run one story for a few days and then published another, you provided our readership with a summary tallying up which comments reacting to the earlier story came from the Clarendon House IP address. In that way, we can better assess not only the foul character of this dictatorship, but we can better discern in future postings who is a sincere citizen and who is just a paid slanderer and toady of the regime.

The Indians know that if SODELPA depends on the Indian party (FLP) vote, SODELPA cannot go all right wing.

So to have real say in the next government - it is the FLP coalition with SODELPA.

AS for FF - if they win, sure, the friends and family they will get the benefits and the businessmen, they will buy anyone regardless.

The rest of the Indians - what is in it for them - NOTHING - just some strained relationship with the Kaibitis - and realizing what they will do when the Fijian to take control of the country - and sooner or later, the Fijians will control their own destiny.

  140. Anonymous 4:30, just what, pray tell, is my ideological leaning?

You say my comment was lame? Lame is better than lamu.

Lame is the idea of forming a national unity government with traitors who have spent the last several years leading betrayal after betrayal of our nation.

Lame is assuming that anyone opposed to Bainimarama's treason must be an ultra-nationalist and have supported Rabuka's treason.

Accessory-after-the-fact is a fact, Jack. You may think it's lame, but it's a legal principle.

But then, you probably think Rule of Law is lame, too. Well, in the New Fiji, you'd be right, because it's been kneecapped by the regime.

Sure, might as well start with those who backed Rabuka and prosecute those behind 2000, which will lead us squarely to the Commodore -- sorry, "Rear Admiral" and go on to 2006 and down to the present day, including every registered member of FFP. A panel of respected international jurists should weigh the totality of their crimes, together with mitigating and aggravating circumstances, against time served and society's need for justice, compensation, and deterrence. More justice—and certainly more mercy—than was shown to Qarase, but that should be considered amongst the aggravating factors.

Were their sentences proportionate, I believe Speight would be freed, Rabuka and Chaudhry given suspended sentences and community time, and Bainimarama would hang.

Don't forget gaol terms for many regime sapotas. If the shoe fits, wear it! No shoelaces will be allowed, though. Don't want you to hang yourself before the appointed day.

C'mon lame too is your thinking that anyone should just die off just because they disagree with you.

That is just pure intolerance no matter how much you talk about legal principles Jacqueline.

BTW your accessory to the fact argument is still lame since you would have to prosecute every FFP supporter. Me thinks the judges would take you for the vindictive waste of time person you are. Never mind the public policy stuff you have to overcome.

  151. Anonymous 5:19, are you just naturally stupid or do you work really hard at it?

Disguising my supposed words of tolerance for words of intolerance? What does that even mean? Inventing your own language? We call it gibberish.

When did I ever say someone should die off just because they disagree with me? That's ridiculous! I'm only calling for death by hanging to incorrigible traitors. Interesting that you should find that so offensive!

Death by hanging is historically the customary punishment for acts of high treason. I'm not calling for the condemned to be drawn and quartered. But neither do they deserve a firing squad. Where they've shown contrition, paid penance or served time, it should count in their favour. I see few mitigating circumstances in Bainimarama's case, however, and many aggravating ones.

Justice should be tempered with mercy, but this regime has shown precious little of either. To intolerance for people of other races or faiths I plead innocent. But to allegations of intolerance to treason, lies and injustice, then I am guilty as charged.

I don't think that people should go hang themselves, as you claim, but, if you insist, I'll make an exception in your case.

These words amount to intolerance because you do tolerate the political views of those that disagree with yours. That you have to resort to threats of prosecution is added cause for the perception of intolerance.

I'm sorry I have the temerity to shake your little old narrow worldview.

Like you said, let's hang those directly responsible, but do you have to also include in your dragnet those that share the same political views with FFP? Many people in Fiji share FFP's political views.

That is not rule of law, that is pure and simple intimidation and intolerance.

Now run along now little Jack and just make sure that your ilk do not cause trouble between now and the elections.

If you stand outside these brothels you will clearly see that many of the ones entering them are the very itaukei that play pretend Christian and also some that preach to you on Sunday of sins such as this.

  160. As I send out my feelers across the country, I am constantly coming to realize that SODELPA will win this election. I know that most Indian-Fijians will vote for FFP but many too will vote for SODELPA. Distrust for FLP, NFP and PDP has increased among them and only a handful will vote for these parties.

There are five main factors that have caused indigenous Fijians to reject FFP:-

    1. The native land issue.
    2. The Qoliqoli issue.
    3. The dissolution of the GCC.
    4. The tertiary scholarships issue.
    5. The Methodist Church issue.

Inspite of Khaiyum's and Bainimarama's many efforts at explaining their stand, their attemps are falling on deaf ears and are in vain amongst the ethnic Fijians. They are feeling they have been passed over by the government even inspite of the handouts, building and improvement of roads and bridges.

  161. I have it on good authority that the trolls from Clarendon House are working overtime. A lot of the comments on this blog site appear to be from SODELPA supports.

    They are not.

A lot of the comments appear to be from racist Indo Fijians. They are not.

We know that Bai is getting nervous when he claims to be a man of unity yet instructs his trolls to create racial division.

Why is this happening? Because of suppression of free speech and free and impartial media.

    Who is responsible for that?

    Guess who?

This is the product of anonymous blog sites. No public debate. Yes we get useful and insightful comments. The down side is the Clarendon House trolls sowing seeds of racial hate. Nice work Frank.

    ReplyDelete
  162. The age old system used by dictators (like Hitler) is to create a problem then appear to be solving it, without letting anyone know you were the one who created it.

By instructing the Clarendon House trolls to incite racial hatred in the guise of being anti-Fiji First, then speaking out in the media (which you completely control) for peace and unity, you can create fear and in turn create support.

There is nothing new in what Frank and Aiyaz are doing here. Who exactly are these trolls? They are damaging Fiji severely.

Who is falling for their tricks? We will only know after the elections.

  163. Current govt will remain till elections - AG
    Friday, 22/08/2014

Attorney General and Minister for Elections Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum
The Attorney General and Minister for Elections has stressed that the current government will continue to be in power till the election as stated in the 2013 Constitution.

While commenting on some parties calling for a caretaker government, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said that the political parties and individuals should come out with proof and facts that the government is misusing taxpayers funds to campaign for the elections.

Sayed-Khaiyum’s comments come after People’s Democratic Party Leader, Felix Anthony called for a caretaker government claiming that the government funds and resources are used for campaigning.

Jeremaia Soko mourns the loss of his son Vilikesa Soko in Lautoka yesterday. Picture: BALJEET SINGH

THE family of a robbery suspect who died in hospital after his arrest is demanding answers from the Fiji Police Force, which has found itself at the centre of brutality allegations.

Vilikesa Ratu Soko, manager of the Saioni Rugby Club, was among suspects taken in by police last weekend in connection with the $50,000 daylight robbery at the City Forex Nadi branch.

Police said the 30-year-old father of three died at 7.30pm on Wednesday at the Lautoka Hospital's intensive care unit.

His grieving family is not convinced by police claims he was not beaten.

Commissioner of Police Ben Groenewald said the deceased was known to be sickly, had refused to take medication during his stay at the hospital and had internal bleeding.

His father, Jeremaia Soko, said his son was not sickly but had visible injuries to his body.

If SODELPA gets in, this is what you will get.

    1. The native land problems
    2. The Qoliqoli Problem
    3. The GCC.
    4. Tertiary scholarships to Fijians.
    5. The Methodist Church issue.

    THINK!!!!!!

SODELPA can only get into power with the support of FLP. By itself SODELPA, even if it gets 75% Fijian votes will not get an absolute majority.

SO....SODELPA needs FLP - and as long as that is the case SODELPA has to get a consensus before it can enact any legislation.

    The Indians interest is protected.

Look at the alternative - what will Indian get from FFP when the money runs out and they have won the elections - they friends and family crowd, they will do fine. The businessmen, they will do fine.

The rest of you are screwed.

So Think and vote - vote your own interest - have a say in the government.

  178. Tui Viti, in the New Fiji, "investigating to the highest levels" simply means the police know Bainimarama's goons are to blame but will accept his office's assurances that they are not, resulting in an impasse -- i.e., no prosecutions and no justice for the regime's latest victims.

It's not FFP's political views that are intimidating. It is the regime's willingness to slander, harass and commit violence against FFP's political opponents that is intimidating.

It need not be Western-style, but we do need justice. If you want it to be Eastern-style, lopping off heads and such, that's your preference, not ours.

As always people will question, scrutinise and cricise what has been drawn up but there are legal and civil ways or avenues made available to address the issues raised so that ammendments could be made based on the principles which we have made to be the foundation on which to build this nation.thats about all i can say about Justice then on the other hand there is Justice meted out old Western style or Eastern style,we can and have a format that is tailor made to suit us.
